But when you finally get a good swing they don't even need to field the ball since it end being a fly ball or ground ball straight to the glove. Even when the game says it was a good swing and you feel it was almost perfect. Very annoying.

I miss old games in where you had to test your fielding skills. This games is now way too encrypted to the point that it doesn't even do what you want when you want, so if it keep like that we will only be able to watch CPU vs CPU in future games.

Too many stupid fouls even when you hit the green spot. Very annoying.

I almost forgot, the pitcher control. OMG. It is like a minor league game in where the pitchers do not control the ball well. But common. Most mayor league pitchers have perfect control.
So. Why when I release the ball good I have to miss my target?
They are penalizing us for doing it good?

Too me most of the game developers ( I mean the main head or who control the games) these days are dealing with mental issues.

There is a lot of stuffs going but I want to keep this post short.

mate you are very wrong about MLB having "perfect control" - i know several former MLB players that happened to be pitchers - they are retired now and i asked for fun about the control question - they laughed and said all that matters is gas

Bro the point here is that when in real life they do a wrong or a bad pitch, there is a logic behind it. They do mistakes and that's when a bad pitch occur.

In MBL the game, the mechanic they are giving you to get a good pitch is supposed to be impacted with your pitch release.
But they still penalized you even when you do it right.

I have loss a few game just by a system mistake, no a mistake of mine. When you have a real competition spirit it turns really annoying to you because it is like if they are telling you "you did it wrong" when you know you did it right.

MLB THE SHOW will never be a ESPORT game because of things like this.

But yes bro. At the begining, this game was more accurate responding to good swings, no too many fouls, the speed was right. You could notice who was good and who was bad. Now it is impossible to show your real skills since the game doesn't reward you by doing good. The lucky factor is what win most of the games now.

That's another reason why this game is soo annoying. They are rewarding players with no skills with the excuse

but in real life you're rewarded by your skills and not for being unskilled.

Maybe you can buy some more tin foil with the money you save. You may not like the gameplay and that is fine but to think that they purposely degrade the experience throughout the year is some prime conspiracy theory thinking.

You need to start opening your eyes.
And read a little more. This game overall rate is 2.5 in most platforms for a reason.

tons of people love the game, you are just whining about it - if you don't like it, find something else to tickle your jimmies

I used to love the game at the first few months after release, as many others players that stoped playing it. If you're not a competitive player, you won't understand it.

Not being able to get a hit is most definitely a user issue. If it wasnt, there would be around 800,000 people in here complaining about it. Also your excessive use of the word "gaslight" or any variant of it is causing the word to lose meaning.

That's what I mean. This game is pure trash.
I just play this game because I love baseball and there is not other baseball game to play.

Just quit another Nolan Ryan without having to score a run. The guy knew I was hitting the ball well, the game was saying my swings were good. But due to the Perks and pitchers stats abilities it was only giving me fly, ground balls and fouls in every good swing. Its really annoying. Fortunately, like I always try when the game allow it to me, I was giving him a pitching class and the guy which had a 7-1 record just end quitting.

That the reason why I said in another post that SDS is trying to make every [censored] good by giving them pitchers with exaggerated speed. It is nothing like real life and how few people are pretending this game to be.
It is pure trash.

if you are complaining about pitch speeds at the veteran level, just wait til you hit all star......or if you get lucky enough, Hall of Fame. I hate the 102 and think it should be consistent, especially when stamina is lowered. And your "when I finally hit it , it goes nowhere", welcome to the club, they have a mythical gauge called pitcher confidence that affects the hit chance. Id rather deal with 102 every game and have that mythical gauge removed. Another bigger problem to me is that some guys 102 seems faster than others, my only guess is arm slots but haven't confirmed.

I have played in every difficulty. But I will stick to the one that I feel respond more realistic with the timing, input and release.

Are you a moderator? You are always around in every post but that's ok. Just curious.

But to answer you that. The problem is worst in ranked matches.
The pitching speed still exaggerated. And the pitching control is even worst.
The last time I played ranked, my pitching release was almost perfect all the time, but I was barely hitting my target once every 5 pitches.
To people that only press buttons to pitch it is not an issue, but I'm always looking to hit the corners so it is too annoying to me.

Another thing is. It is not only about outlier.
What I hate the most is that not only they make it hard to hit the ball to an outlier mixing the speed.
But the facts that when you finally start timing the ball right, it ends being an easy out to the point that the fielder doesn't even have to move? Really?

There are many reasons why the player may feel that way, most notably the fact that at the beginning of the year not all players had 99 players at every position so the margin for error was much smaller than it is now. PCIs were not as big. Players expectations of how cards would play was much lower for golds and low diamonds than it is for 99 overall players.

Bro, just like we have sliders, they can fine tune the game to how ever they want.

I remember most people quitting on me with my first account after they see my stats. Since I have a good timing most of my players were over 50 homers with 300+ average.

Now, while my timing haven't changed. Most of my swings that the game registers as good, are turned into fly balls, ground balls, 100 fouls.
It takes me 50 good swing just to earn a hit.
But my opponents are getting 5-6 hit with too early or too late swings? Common man.
