I still believe that believing that SDS downgrades the game during the year is utter nonsense.

There are many reasons why the player may feel that way, most notably the fact that at the beginning of the year not all players had 99 players at every position so the margin for error was much smaller than it is now. PCIs were not as big. Players expectations of how cards would play was much lower for golds and low diamonds than it is for 99 overall players.

This is not purposefully done, but is just a byproduct of so many juiced cards,

Bro, just like we have sliders, they can fine tune the game to how ever they want.

I remember most people quitting on me with my first account after they see my stats. Since I have a good timing most of my players were over 50 homers with 300+ average.

Now, while my timing haven't changed. Most of my swings that the game registers as good, are turned into fly balls, ground balls, 100 fouls.
It takes me 50 good swing just to earn a hit.
But my opponents are getting 5-6 hit with too early or too late swings? Common man.

And this is why I can't take people seriously. This man says he bats .020 on good swings.

if you are complaining about pitch speeds at the veteran level, just wait til you hit all star......or if you get lucky enough, Hall of Fame. I hate the 102 and think it should be consistent, especially when stamina is lowered. And your "when I finally hit it , it goes nowhere", welcome to the club, they have a mythical gauge called pitcher confidence that affects the hit chance. Id rather deal with 102 every game and have that mythical gauge removed. Another bigger problem to me is that some guys 102 seems faster than others, my only guess is arm slots but haven't confirmed.

I have played in every difficulty. But I will stick to the one that I feel respond more realistic with the timing, input and release.

yeah and that is All Star for pitching, hitting is [censored] on any level so there's that. anything past all star is too difficult and boring (2-1 games aren't my bag)

The combination of pitchers throwing 102 and pin point sucks the fun right out of the game. Being able to place pitches at that speed on the corners makes it a lot less fun to play IMO. Not to mention the ridiculous difference between a 102 mph pitch and giving someone like Nolan a 78 mph change up you can dot with makes it overly difficult for no reason. Usually you can tell the guys who need to use outlier to pitch well because every pitcher they use in a game have it.

Yeah looks terrible and super arcady and simple...I think its perfect for the majority of these DD/online casuals in here 🙂
