Every year, players are hoping for a better game.
But almost every year, when the games come out, it plays almost perfectly.
Then, they purposely start to change everything with the updates so the game start to get annoying.That's when you start hoping for a better game next year.
But common, they already had it. They just purposely ruined it to have a reason to sell a new version.That's why I can't no longer give a good input. They knows how to give us a good experience. But they don't want to give it to us just because they need a reason to sell a new one.
Do with your money what ever you want but they are not fooling me anymore.

While I agree with your reasoning, people don't play sports games with the idea they are going to get 5 years out of it. Even if they gameplay was perfect, people will still buy the next one. MLB 17 was considerably better than 18-20 but the only people still playing that game before the servers shut down were playing for online franchise

I agree with you too. Im the kind of person that like to upgrade every year too.
But it will be easier to me to support a company or business every year that can give a good experience.As example. Apple or Samsung not necessary ruin them previous phone versions just to sell a new version. They just keep adding new functions or upgrades.

I used to love the game at the first few months after release, as many others players that stoped playing it. If you're not a competitive player, you won't understand it.
But do yourself a favor and just do the same. If you don't like my post. Reply somewhere else.

I still believe that believing that SDS downgrades the game during the year is utter nonsense.
There are many reasons why the player may feel that way, most notably the fact that at the beginning of the year not all players had 99 players at every position so the margin for error was much smaller than it is now. PCIs were not as big. Players expectations of how cards would play was much lower for golds and low diamonds than it is for 99 overall players.
This is not purposefully done, but is just a byproduct of so many juiced cards,

Gameplay is very bad, the game sucks hence I took my talents to another game. I suggest he does the same, it’s November already and he should’ve taken whatever enjoyment possible out of this game by now. I moved on after the extreme program.

^ this, gameplay feels different as soon as the first 125 attributes come out and they have to tune the game in order to compensate for the introduction of these cards. This is why EVERY YEAR I am on here screaming for them to revert back to the old attribute system. We don’t need players with a PCI larger than the strike zone, 99 power is more than enough to hit no doubt HR’s, sh*t 70 power is enough. If we are going to continue with these juiced arcade cards then give us Bonds, Sosa and McGwire.

Nah, podemos responder si queremos.But yes bro. At the begining, this game was more accurate responding to good swings, no too many fouls, the speed was right. You could notice who was good and who was bad. Now it is impossible to show your real skills since the game doesn't reward you by doing good. The lucky factor is what win most of the games now.

I’m not going to stop playing, however it is frustrating, I’m more upset of the “working as intended” trolling Ramone and Rory love to do, But the RNG on hitting and the perfect pinpoint only for the ball to go right down the middle or complete opposite location is infuriating.

Bro, just like we have sliders, they can fine tune the game to how ever they want.
I remember most people quitting on me with my first account after they see my stats. Since I have a good timing most of my players were over 50 homers with 300+ average.
Now, while my timing haven't changed. Most of my swings that the game registers as good, are turned into fly balls, ground balls, 100 fouls.
It takes me 50 good swing just to earn a hit.
But my opponents are getting 5-6 hit with too early or too late swings? Common man. -
My favourite is when it takes 5 or more hits to score a run vs the cpu, and you hit into a double play three times per game.
I agree with the poster who said attributes over 125 are a problem. The game wasn’t perfect in 2016, but things sure got weird in 2018 when the immortals and 125 attributes came.

I wonder about that. Because 125 just becomes the new 99, right? Before hitters with power in the 90's would be smashing, now it's hitters with 100+ power. Different number, same system?
