I, like you, was leaning towards David Wright myself when this choice was presented to me and ultimately chose him and he’s very, very solid at 3b I can think of very few balls that have made it by him and he’s generated outs also due to having a very quick wrist when it comes to slapping the tag down on the sliding runners BUT (lol) I can’t hit a lick with him. I just can’t…and forget about vs right handed pitching - at lest in my experience.
He’s a Met though so I continue to let him take his hacks and against lefties he’s very solid and I don’t have me a JRAM yet so I can’t compare them but I would probably lean towards using the switch hitter over Wright and (but who knows it could just be me that can’t hit with him!) i still sub him in a heartbeat with jackson Holliday if he’s facing a rhp.
