Game always plays better on HoF, that doesn’t mean it plays well.

It definitely affects timing windows, I tested it out a lot cause I didn’t believe it. One reason of not the main the timing windows feel like a roulette table at times IMO.

The rest of your post I agree with 100 percent, absolutely no reason to have it in the game, besides timing which I don’t think ot should affect it. Its main purpose is to cause foul off after foul off. They know this and will never remove it.

How did you test it? I’ve seen no difference between using someone with 100 vision or 50 vision. If anything I feel like I actually hit better with lower vision players but there can be a lot of reasons for that.

Took a LS card of player (Jazz was one) and took their best card. Went to BP with my normal sliders, legend FB jacked almost to the max, Selected inside heat only. Started with the best card went till I was warmed and timing it up for a good 20 count. Switched to the LS card, usually face degrom. I was constantly late could never time it up good. Tried all types of players.

I had to take the first buck completely off my team before the other one would show in my inventory, I couldn’t just swap cards.

This statement is true and sad. Pretty much shows no attempt on their part to improve.

I’m a regular on these forums, i follow a lot of the streamers….i see the gripes day in and day out. I’ve been playing DD essentially since it came out and i genuinely don’t see a lot of these issues people cry about. Game has its ups and downs but for a video game i think it’s top notch.

I can say the same thing about the forum and such, I can also add I have played every baseball game on every system going back to Intellivision.

Yes people may overreact to some of the things they complain about, but the same can be side about the defenders of the game.

Great for you if you truly believe it is top notch, your opinion and I am not trying to sway anyones opinion on the game. Read this again and I can see how it might seem I am being a [censored] here, not my intention but to lazy to delete and re-word.

I find the game, online play, far from top notch as a video game or baseball simulation.

Two outs man on 3rd, routine grounder to 2nd easy throw to first out by ten feet. What happens next? The score board shows the run scored and Babe is now on first and I get the pleasure of getting 4 outs to end the inning.

Sure they could, but I wouldn't count on it, at least not for 22.

The reality is SDS has made this game to give bad and casual players a chance to win . Unless your a top 50 goon it’s hard for most of us to over come the bs. Ive force myself to play this game because I love baseball

So how does the game know that the person is a bad or casual player?

It doesn’t, it just rewards bad input far too often. We understand that there is randonmess in baseball, there are bloop hits, unlucky ball bounces and all that… but this is a videogame and input should matter a little bit more.

For starters pitcher’s confidence shouldn’t be included in the hitting outcomes equation, if your confidence is up and you threw an absolute dot, if I was good enough to put pci on the ball then don’t punish me.

Have you ever played real baseball? Confidence is key. I think currently hitting and pitching is pretty balanced.

Also this is a video game. If you want to be perfectly realistic go play on a real diamond. It's the BEST video game of baseball we have and I think SDS has done a fine job.

It's not perfect but it's fun. That's all I care about.

Stop complaining about it and try to enjoy life.

I have played baseball and even pitches, high confidence never allowed me to hang a slider watch it get squared up and turn into a lazy fly ball

I do! I had him maxed out. I was surprised they gave him catcher as a secondary. I don’t think he caught a single game last year.

Hasn’t caught a game since his rookie year.

No, in a pre-launch stream, they specifically referred to these 2 being brought down close to sea level.

@Jacky-Chan1_XBL figured I'd tag you, saw your answer later; I can't link it to you, but it is in a pre-season stream; don't know if it's the DD one or one before.

According to the card Shippett is 3000 and LM is over 5000. They may have said that in a stream but they say lots of things in stream that are false.

It is if you enjoy 15 pitch at bats cause they somehow foul off a pitch bouncing in front of the plate with very early timing 8 out 10 times

And you think that's whats happening to Franchise mode?. The core gameplay keeps improving yes, but not many additions to Franchise mode.

I think they are pocketing that revenue instead of putting it towards improving the game. That doesn’t change the fact DD players create revenue which provides SDS more resources to make a better game.

Not I, I am still bouncing pitches to the plate just to watch them consistently be fouled off.
