I knew you could pull Headliners from The Show Packs; but didn't know, until now, that you could pull a Headliner from a different Headliner packs than the one it was released.
Just pulled Street from the Castilla pack.

The New Nationals vs Astros World Series moment
I score 2 runs need 3 runs to win and somehow always end up losing
I'm sorry but something that takes as long, it longer, than a Conquest game is NOT a moment.
Tried a few times won’t be trying again
Tried it once. That was enough. Same with the Daily where you need a hit against Sig Randy.

The ability for people who know the “secret method” of quick pausing the game after you take a lead off 2nd base, moving their fielder closer to the bag, then picking you off even though you 100% know what they are trying to do and you are jamming the button to either go back to the bag or call time and step out of the box.
The argument of don’t take the extra step is trash, I only take the step when nobody is near the runner just like every baserunner should in real life and also the game makes it too easy for runners to be thrown out at home on a two out base hit. The fact that it’s a unrealistic glitch and there’s like a magic way of doing it(if people take a lead on me at second and I throw there they seem to get back no problem) means that they should address it.
Every time this happens to me I want to throw my controller through the wall. Am I alone here?
Are you taking the extra step PRIOR to them selecting a pitch? I heard that if you take the extra step before they (it's either or) they select the pitch or before they look over it's a guaranteed pick-off.
Not 100% sure, but the bigger issue is the quick pause menu thing. They can basically pause me out of any action while they change their defensive alignment, then unpause and pick me off without me being able to do anything about it. It’s probably the cheesiest exploit that I’ve come
across and I feel like they need to address it somehow.
Oh. I know. I've experienced it.
A little conspiracy theory right here: Ice noticed that late nite games, for me around 3am EST, I usually match up against someone that will try anything to get a win.
I played someone tonight that had OVER 1300 RS games played and the first thing they did when they came up to bat in the Top of the 1st was hold R2 and 'bunt dance'. They did it after EVERY pitch. And when they pitched; the side stepped EVERY pitch.
It was nerve wracking to say the least.
Probably didn't help that once I saw they were holding R2 every pitch, for an extended time, I took my time pitching. I think that 3 inn Event game lasted about an hour.
I don't care anymore. While I may still complain here and there; I'm just going to roll with it. If you want to play like a tool; I'll quit the game and move on to the next.
I'm debating stopping after I get Mantle and taking a break until 23 so I'm not run down when it releases. (That's if I can find a PS5 by then.)
Did it show you the Pack in the After Game Rewards screen?
You may have to exit the game and reload it.

I still think the art team should used a pair of sweatpants with the word 'Juicy' printed in glitter on them as the artwork for these packs.

Ok so the ratio for pulling the rare cards has to be wrong as I have opened more than 15 of these packs and only get the base round...
Anyone else struggling with pulling the rare cards or just me?
Or you may not understand the ratio. It's not per person. It's per pack. While you may have opened 15 pack; thousands of other people may have opened 15 packs at the same time.

Are they done with 'other programs' as well?
The Conquest map is too small, and doesn't make sense why it could be in a 'forever' program
There will be more maps and more moments
@Mike__Honcho_361 @eatyum_PSN that was my exact thought.
I may just buy what I need and if/when I eventually hit a pack I can recoup some of what I spent. Thanka
I know we should have at least 1 more event, maybe 2, that will have the Rewind packs in them.
But what's everyone's thoughts on where some of these past cards level out price wise?
I need most of these to finish off Rollins and to get Mantle.
Just wondering if I want to just buy them outright then I won't have to worry about playing a certain event or if I should wait to see if they drop in price.
I'm thinking these, and the Ranked cards, will maintain their current value.

Good enough reason as any to try out the new MS Kershaw.
I took about 6 weeks off from the game in Sept. and Oct., so I'm still working through the Postseason program. So, so many cards to reach 150 PXP. Yikes. After that, I need to finish up the September MA program and I'll have finally finished just about everything.
Once all that's done...
I have the last 22 pts for the HL Program, all the missions for the Milestone and Finest Program, and whatever I need to get to the end of the Sept POTM. I'm figuring the new Conquest and a Mini Seasons run, with a few Event and BR games mixed in will finish the Other Programs.
Then unless they release more Other Programs; I can start on my quest for MS Randy and MS Halladay.

Kinda bummed that it won't count toward the GOAT collection. I got to about 850K XP on the last mission, so I imagine I'll eventually get close to 2 million between now and April.
Unfortunately, SDS chose to go the usual route and finish the program with the laziest, least interesting rewards at the end. I think almost all the rewards over the final few hundred thousand are just The Show packs, BIAH, and whatever the pink and green ones are called. The LS is completely worthless. I pulled Trout last night (first time all year) and QS him for 10K. Yeesh.
It would have been cool if they released new cards at every 500,000 XP or so. They wouldn't even need to be big marquee names. Throw a Paul Molitor at 1.5 mil and Warren Spahn at 2 mil. I might not use those cards much (or even ever?), but I am much more motivated to unlock a card I'll never use than a pack I don't even want to open.
How in the hell are you at 850K already?
I'm not -- I ended at 850K on the previous program. I'm only at like 125,000 on the new one (just from exchanges, collections, and the 3-team conquest)
Ahhh. I definitely misunderstood what you typed. Sorry.

How long is the program in XP?
2 milly
Also know as the 5-6 week program. Thought it was funny that the final prize is 1M stubs.
Woah. I just saw that.
Basically just play the game and you can get every card at this point. BR is worth over a million. This program is worth at least 2M.
Even if all the cards that could be obtained through this program's reward path drop to QS value, and someone started late, it will still probably take them $1-2m in stubs to complete all the collections.
And that may be low as if you just stated today, and unless they throw more 2022 finest packs at us, you can only choose 6 from the reward path. That means you would need to buy at least 24 more. Even at QS it would cost 240K. Add in what you would need for the other 'Franchise' programs and the AS Program, where you get Jackie, you're looking at some change.
And that's if the ones where you were able to choose 5 (with Finest Lindor) and 6 (FS O'Neil) drop to QS because you can only choose 1 from the Lindor Program and 3 from the O'Neil Program.
plus I don't see Takashi Wagner dropping to 10K.

I did all the Topps Now throughout the season and got all the cards from the program.
But when trying to collect for Mantle collection I'm 15 short. Where do you get all these other Topps cards from? I don't remember them being in the program when I did it week to week.
There were not they are retro ones u get from BR
This. In the Bronze, Silver, and Gold BR packs.
@LuvMyXBOX_XBL said in Is 2.5 Million stubbs enough to get mantle collection?:
Right now I just got the Brett collection.
I am very off right now in a lot of collections. I think I have only 6 completed.
If I just did Buy Now for the remainder, how many total stubbs will it take?
Just play the game.
So you lost out on a few packs.

@SaveFarris_PSN said in Does this happen to anyone else:
I do it in ranked, but it’s because I occasionally have the wrong lineup selected.
Yeah, but in Ranked you can go straight into a game.
What I'm saying is that if I want to play an Event game and someone (me or my opponent) backs out when the pitcher, or batter, select screen is showing; when I try to enter another game I get those two errors.
And it happens EVERY time someone backs out.
It doesn't happen in BR. It doesn't happen in Ranked. Only in Events.
