Does this happen to anyone else

This has happened during EVERY event.
When I enter a game and get to the Pitcher Select screen and either me or my opponent backs out of the matchup; when I go to find another matchup it search, finds an opponent, then it tells me that I lost connection with the opponent BEFORE I get to the PS screen, then it tells me Challenge Failed, and makes me try to find an opponent again.
This happens EVERY TIME someone backs out.
I've been trying to enter an event game since it became Live and I have yet to enter one because my potential opponent keeps back out.
Is this a bug? Is it happening to anyone else?

I do it in ranked, but it’s because I occasionally have the wrong lineup selected.

Yeah, but in Ranked you can go straight into a game.
What I'm saying is that if I want to play an Event game and someone (me or my opponent) backs out when the pitcher, or batter, select screen is showing; when I try to enter another game I get those two errors.
And it happens EVERY time someone backs out.
It doesn't happen in BR. It doesn't happen in Ranked. Only in Events.
