Here we go again, this dude keeps saying this and nothing has been even whispered since the Mookie collection. But you go on believing it. I’ll believe it when a credible SDS dev confirms it. BTW forum it is not confirmed, it’s only confirmed in this dude’s head.

I said it once and I will say it again. The mookie collection is not the final collection. This is 100% confirmed. Now stop wasting the mods time like a little tattle tail. My gawd you are a child.

Then post where they have confirmed this otherwise stop passing off speculation as fact.

SDS - can you please respond to this? There really needs to be a way to quickly find Duplicates/Triplicates via either the Game or the TSN Website.
Unlike in past years (when Inventory/Not Owned pulled up 2x/3x items), there is NO WAY to easily find them now.

In Inventory - you have to waste time scrolling through all the "owned" items to find the 2x/3x items. In the Market Listings - you also have to waste time scrolling through all your "owned" items to find the 2x/3x items.

At the very least - in the Game, when you go to the market from a card, it should return TO THE SAME Card when the buy/sell is complete. Now - it always goes back to the topmost card, which is a REAL PAIN when trying to sell Free Agent duplicates.

SDS - PLEASE add a "Duplicates" filter in either the Inventory or Market Listings. It would make life so much easier for all of us and actually give us more time to actually play the game. I am currently wasting a ton of time going through my Free Agents to find duplicates..

I agree with you. I have read and watched a good deal about him and it does seem that he had some issues. But he was not nearly S bad as everyone thinks. It’s probably Ken Burns’ fault even though his documentary was otherwise perfect.

Al Stump did the most damage. Most of his stories were wildly exaggerated and some were fabricated completely. Ken Burns took this garbage and combined it with the fact that Cobb was much disliked by his contemporaries to create a racist bogeyman.

And it's sad to see, too. Because Cobb probably got in his fair share of spats with players and spectators alike, and played dirty (though a lot of the stuff that is considered dirty today wasn't against the rules back then) he wasn't a racist.

In fact, he SUPPORTED racial integration in baseball, and there's even a picture of him giving hitting tips to Hank Aaron.

I freely admit, I don't know enough about the man's personal history but I have a biography about him which is supposed to be well crafted and fairly objective and this thread has inspired me to pick it up......now.

Don't read it if it has the name "Stump" on it. That's the man who ruined Cobb's reputation and legacy.

Nope, not that one. This book is by Charles Leerhsen called: Ty Cobb a Terrible Beauty. It wom the Casey award for best baseball book of the year in 2015 and is supposedly the gold standard of baseball biographies. Along with Jane Leavy's books on Babe, Koufax and Mantle.

It's described as debunking the myths about Cobb so I believe it gives a fair portrayal.
