The hacking theory may be spot on. There was a Bob Gibson for sale on the market (yes an actual sell order) when the top event player had 13 wins.

I saw that and thought it was a bit quick to have the wins.

...and here I am all day at work trying to snipe cards for 100 stubs and sell them for 120 stubs. Yikes!
