Last year XBOX players were blamed for everything….I guess this is the year of the Switch!

this has solid evidence adding up! Nothing like this has ever happened before

I don't even know "what's happening"? Can someone explain to me please? I'm 100% serious! Is the market going crazy? prices seem low compared to last year (IMO)

A bunch of trouts sold for 700k, Gerrit cole for 200k, etc. I'm 90% sure it's nefarious activity going on with the switch thats easier to hack and give yourself stubs by changing a value or something. I have a switch and enjoy it, so I'm not trying to hate on the console, but that's my thinking.

One of the features that a modded switch has is the ability to edit the RAM of the console. This gives you ability to edit several key numbers and values that a game may store. I did this with RBI Baseball earlier in the year. It took me five minutes to do. You may be asking, "That's just the statline! Nothing too dangerous!"
Well, it is definitely likely if SDS doesn't implement protection, that someone can do that with the stub count, XP, created player attributes, heck, someone can probably change the score of the game online if they really wanted to.
Looks like SDS didnt implement protection

Aquax is one of the best glitch finders in the community too, so he knows his stuff. He found a bunch of problems with stadium creator by himself last year. Very possible someone could be hacking stubs in on the switch and transferring them to their PSN/ Xbox account

The hacking theory may be spot on. There was a Bob Gibson for sale on the market (yes an actual sell order) when the top event player had 13 wins.
There were actually 2 sold at 4:07 eastern (so 20 wins in an hour, when the leaderboard showed no one with more than 10)

It would explain why this is happening more frequent this year too. This isn't the first day its happened. Past years you might have seen this sort of activity once a month max. I mean it's cool this game is on the switch and all, but Nintendo is notoriously bad with their consoles being able to be modded.

I saw that and thought it was a bit quick to have the wins.

The Gibson thing is what made me take pause how was he there less then an hour into the event. Something is happen however if ot is via a hacked switch Har to say SDS can really do anything as I'm sure banning on system would just lead to the use of another hacked system they have
-
This is going to be one hell of a year with the possible modding going on. The best part is SDS probably has zero clue on how to deal with it. With that said, put in an absurd buy or sell order and see if it will be filled.

I blame Billy Crystal.

...and here I am all day at work trying to snipe cards for 100 stubs and sell them for 120 stubs. Yikes!

LMAO! I was being slightly sarcastic, but it's definitely slimmer margins than last year (although I started later in the year last year)

Apparently a guy on Twitter is taking credit for destroying the market yesterday, and he says he has been banned. He claims it was an unintentional glitch.

If you read into that guys tweets more he says that he was able to redeem bought stubs over and over again without being charged for them. Considering it happened again today, its possible someone else had this glitch happen. This needs to be addressed big time
