New Babe Ruth Card

Shohei Ohtani has an awesome All Star card, could we not get a Ruth pitching card with great hitting stats? The guy was a dominant pitcher before hitting full time and could you use a thinner player model for him. It's like going to a hologram concert of Elvis Presley and they put on old fat Elvis. I just wanna see the guy in his early thinner days, before the beer and hot dog diet haha
If already suggested then I'm just saying they need one also. It would also be a cool way to maximize the rights for the players they own. Like with Vida and Sale, a bullpen card then a starter card. -
I don't think they will because he wasnt a 2 way player. If he would have pitched some in his big hitting seasons maybe they would. I am sure they would. But he didnt. 1919 was his best season of pitching plus hitting, but his hitting numbers wouldnt be near as good as his best cards, despite great numbers, and his pitching that year wasnt that good. 1.545 WHIP and 30Ks in 133 inn (lol) and 148 hits allowed. Not that he ever had good K/9.

I think it would be a fun card in an evo Ruth program, but he has a slow wind-up and wouldn’t really be worth using... Plus most of us haven’t got over needing to pitch 200 innings with him in 18 for that immortal card.

Yes, good points buy Cy Young didn't throw 98 mph either. I'm just saying have a little fun and put out a card that you can use. I understand realism but you could take away the arm wind up and start his motion from there. Give him some decent pitches and not max power hitting but solid hitting attributes. Save the HOF hitting for his position card ya know. Just give an option of a pitcher card or a position card to use, maybe a two card option reward.

Ruth never quite did what Ohtani has this year. Even with the differences is in times. It'd be cute, though.

I'd rather see a Ruth position player with legit pitching attributes and rp secondary. Would be able to use him to pinch hit and eat up some innings in a blowout/extra inning game. Or could just start him at 1st/of if you'd rather just do that

Ruth would 99.9 percent get a Sink-piece, as the late Joe Morgan used to call it.
-
Sink piece with outlier
-
If babe had a pitching card it would be a left handed Walter Johnson without outlier. No thanks

You could always go play 2018 again.
