Same here… finished all of the identified “finish these and get a head start on S3” and I don’t see any way to get a head start??
Don’t know why I’m not surprised… 🫠

Why are “defensive moments” included when you play the PERFORM WELL FOR A SEASON BOOST? After all is said and done (e.g., 3 offensive ABs and 17 attempts to catch a fly ball or a throw to 1B, etc.) I only get credit for my batting stats! It means absolutely nothing that I can move my player over to 1B to catch a ball from the SS or if I can run my player over to catch a pop fly!?!?
I just don’t understand why it’s included in the mission?? Waste of time… just put me at the plate if that’s all that matters!
Maybe I’m missing something, but when it’s over, they give me 0 to 3 boosts based upon hitting stats?!?!
I like the recommendations of taking some time off (even a full year)… I still enjoy the grind a bit, but I just don’t know why I even get somewhat excited anymore with reward packs… Chase, Diamond Duos, regular show packs, etc… I don’t care that they’re free packs, for example all the free packs for grinding the shark map, I just believe they should hit more often… tons and tons and tons of various packs and still can barely pull a 85 diamond… just sickens my stomach, that’s all…
Back to my first statement, maybe I do need a break!
Horrible! Guy(s) gets drafted and already has a way better card than 7/8ths of established players (e.g. those that have been playing day in/out for years potentially)! Complete disrespect for those players that have been paying their dues for years! Just like Tops Now… Wow, guy gets first hit in the majors… let’s give him a 95! While guys that have been playing for a bit get to enjoy their bronze/common card all season!
I understand it keeps things interesting, I suppose… I just think they should have to prove a bit more before they’re elevated to superstar status!
I believe those without player names are the Incognito players (e.g Kyle Seager, A.K.A. Corey’s Brother). Kyle’s jersey is blank… think I’ve seen it others as well, but for sure saw his this way…
Not sure about 23 as I haven’t tried yet, but in 22 you could load your OWN music onto a jump/thumb drive (USB stick) and while in the game import through SETTINGS—>SOUNDS OF THE SHOW—>MANAGE MUSIC FILES—>IMPORT.
Then use the PLAYLIST EDITOR to select which music you wanted to listen to while playing the game.
Wishful thinking on my part here for those, like me, that are tired of pre/post play animations! It would be nice if there was a way to turn a setting off so I don’t have to continuously watch my manager waive his hand for the intentional walk (~6 seconds and I do this so it speeds up the pitchers delivery rather than having no one on base) or watch a computer SS congratulate himself for an out at 1B, etc… don’t get me wrong… if you are new to the game and/or love the BASEBALL play (animations) aspect of everything, great! I’m just talking about an option to turn it all off to expedite a game in which all I’m trying to do is prestige (P5) a pitcher.
In this case, I personally am trying to pitch fast, get my 3 Ks and get to batting (in an offline 9-Inn game vs. the CPU) just to then try to get out as quickly as possible so I can pitch again! Even then, I’ve got to wait out 2-3 computer pitches outside the zone before I get something to bunt just to get out… even if I just swing at the first 3 pitches I still feel like I’m watching paint dry!
Okay enough venting! Hope everyone is well!
P.s. if anyone else has a faster way to get back on the pitchers mound (meaning get my 3 outs when I’m batting), please share
Out of curiosity… anyone happen to know why the fictitious managers of DD squads don’t appear to be “seasoned” (much older)?? Most (not all) I’ve seen in cut clips look to be about 25!?!?
Again, little thing, but simply a curiosity… and, if anyone happens to know, now that my squad has been established (has been for a few years now), can I somehow change my manager? I’m tired of seeing my manager look like he’s just hitting puberty!
P.S. loved the Scott S. Astros card! Great conspiracy!
Agree w/ most here… at the time I didn’t like it (which doesn’t mean squat to Scott), but if Ray had succeeded, I would have simply thought HOW AESOME IS IT THAT WE (the Ms, but as fans we like to include ourselves ) JUST PULLED OFF AN UPSET WIN IN HOUSTON! More so than thinking about it being a genius move…
But, I suppose, as a fan, all I can pray for now is SEA isn’t completely shell shocked after all this and performs over the next 3 games!!
I’ll end on another sour, yet similar call… “just run Marshawn”!!! 🤪

10.14 POSTSEASON PROGRAM
Based on 2022 Postseason with new Flashbacks after each round ends. Play at your own pace, not time limited. Friday @ noon PT
Thanks! I just saw that… the dream is still alive
I just didn’t have any patience apparently!
Anything short of exactly how they released the program in the past 2-3 game playing seasons will be a huge letdown for me personally as in each of the last few seasons, some great WC, DS, etc. cards were released and those of you that had teams in the playoffs, got some nice cards to play with towards the end of the season! Shoot, I would probably still be using A. RILEY and Rosario’s 2021 post-season cards if I had them in 2022!
Just belly-aching cause SEA is finally in and I’d love to see a couple “closer to end game cards available” other than the standard Griffey talk, etc… Did get Randy this season… but only about a 3rd of the season though cause by then there were already Tops Now cards w/ similar playing card attributes (Hits p/9, velo, etc)… that’s another soap box for another thread though!
Never mind, Completely disrespectful! Randy may have been one of the most feared SPs to ever play the game… but, hey, why not give this 3rd year guy a comparable boosted card because he put his socks on the right foot this game… joking, but you get the point! Guy goes 5 shutout innings in a debut w/ 6 Ks and he magically gets a card that matches some of the games best!!! Change this please!!! LEGENDS ARE EXACTLY THAT… treat them as such please! I mean honestly, outside of an A. Judge… there probably shouldn’t be too many current players w/ 99!?!? Debatable I know, but simply making a point…
Sorry, way too long!!!!
Since the servers are apparently down, figured I’d send a quick gripe (outside of the dang servers being down)…
Segura’s ground ball is still making its way through the infield in STL, yet his card is immediately supercharged for getting extremely lucky… while Cal Raleigh not only has homered, but doubled, scored runs, and is batting .500 for the series (including clutch hits)… nothing!
I haven’t really paid attention to LS cards outside of early season play / collection… and definitely didn’t run out and start one SC player this season… but I just think consistency matters… whatever/whoever is determining this stuff… apply it equally across the board or get rid of it cause it just gets casual fans frustrated when they don’t feel their team is represented!
P..s I realize SEA has other SC players right now… but they also deserve it (clutch performances, etc…). Shoot, even Frazier should be SC’ed for his game winning double to finish the amazing comeback!!!
Simply been waiting for a hot minute to enjoy all of the post-season content for my favorite team and hate to feel like I’m about to be short-changed!
Thanks for reading!
@alpha-wolf-x1x_xbl said in 99 George Brett tomorrow.....:
It's a finest card, so i'm sure his attributes will be stacked!!
It may very well be…? Again, simply saying, for me, G. Brett doesn’t scream COLLECTION. Great ball player, no doubt… possibly one of the Top 10 3B of all-time… but, to each his own… for me, I would think SDS would, at least for a COLLECTION, give us someone that may have been considered the best or top 2-3 at their own position (again, at least)… for example, out of all the COLLECTION rewards we may see this year… most should agree that the community WANTS to see players that would be considered Top 10 all-time, etc… not just a random legend that may have only been Top 10 at their position (maybe Top 50-100 overall all-time) I’m sure I’ll still try to collect him because he’ll be needed for the FUTURE COLLECTION cards I’ll probably want.
Big L…! Not saying G. Brett was not a heck of a ball player… simply stating he isn’t COLLECTION worthy! They should be “end game” caliber players/names or close to it for the investment needed (locking in all those cards)!! He is one of a hundred Legend/Flashback players that fit this “good but not LEGEND” category! Simply my opinion…! For those that love him… great! Go for it…
Disregard
Why don’t teams LOSE any of their fans when reinforcing surrounding territories? When I attack/move from one territory to the next, my fans are subtracted for each move (until a reinforce stage), same with my strongholds, when I attack from them, my stronghold remains unprotected with only 1M fans remaining… why can other computer teams magically reinforce territories WITHOUT losing any of their fans from their strongholds? Just a curious question, but one that becomes frustrating when you’re trying to jam through a conquest map!
For the record… I could’ve clarified… I don’t care about flipping for a measly few hundred stubs… FOR EXAMPLE… A. Judge went from 110k to 97k within approximately 30 bids… could very easily sell for approximately 109,970 had EVERYONE simply dropped the sell price by 1 stub…! Guarantee there isn’t one player out there “hawking” the market waiting for that one guy/gal to drop a sell price by 2k… same player would have bought them for the additional stubs… for every player squeezing by with just enough stubs to purchase the card they want (looking for that exuberant drop in price) there are the same amount of players with plenty of stubs that will snatch them up from you either way (whether you’re dropping by 1 stub or 1k)!
Just frustrating cause when you finally get a good card that you can actually make a worthwhile profit on… every knob out there just ruins that “worthy” gap!
Don’t let me fool anyone… I’m not inexperienced in this game and grind with the best of ‘em (not saying I play well), but have played long enough and am smart enough too see WE THE PLAYERS can control the marketplace if everyone adopted this philosophy…! Cards will still move, in my opinion…
Appreciate everyone’s perspective/experience…. Thanks!
@tmichae10_PSN care to explain further? Or were you trying to just be funny providing your response?
