one of my fav players, one of my most productive cards esp 2020 when he was a team affinty reward. tho puts into play who do I bench between albert at third yelich or frank who are all hitting near 450 and bat 3/4/5 for me

Are we 100% positive he is the first FB/Legend Collection reward?
I have FOTF Devers at 3rd and wanted to get him to P5 before I replaced him.
Also, what happens when they release a 99 Chipper?
Pretty simple.
Use Devers if you want to use him. Use Brett if you want to use him. Use Chipper when he comes out if you want to use him.
No one has a gun to your head making you use all of the content. It’s just nice to have a lot of options.

Just debating if I want to sell off what I have now, if prices spike, or lock them in for him.
I won’t be using Brett but will probably hold onto what I have just in case the next collection reward is someone I want
Same unless they let us skip 2 collections this time and it’s too easy to pass up .We probably getting two more Collections at least I think the next two will be crazy

My only issue is I have never used any of his cards before so I don't know if I'll like his swing.
I could try to draft him in BR.
And I meant sell off my extras. I bought extras of some of the Diamond rewards with hopes they would increase but with the way SDS is hanging out rewind packs....

not really, this is a collection reward, all the program cards are 95's, they are staying at a steady pace, if they dropped a 96-97 collection reward people would lose their minds.

Brett's swing is great and previous cards always had high contact but low power. I hope his power stats are at least 80ish. Defense will be diamond I'm sure.

I am more so a card collecting guy then feeling like i need cards to have certain attributes to replace Player X in my lineup.
For that reason I was gonna like and collect whoever it was. Personally I like Brett a lot last year and thought his power played above his ratings.
I used FOTF Devers alot and J-ram until they nerfed him vs LHP so excited to try something new. Also always feels good to get these collections done. Im over 80% collected everywhere including Mauer and Babe so I'm thinking I should be able to get him when he drops. Just not sure about how the Future stars and potential voucher there will play.

They should be “end game” caliber players/names or close to it for the investment needed (locking in all those cards)!! He is one of a hundred Legend/Flashback players that fit this “good but not LEGEND” category! Simply my opinion…! For those that love him… great! Go for it…
It's a finest card, so i'm sure his attributes will be stacked!!

It may very well be…? Again, simply saying, for me, G. Brett doesn’t scream COLLECTION. Great ball player, no doubt… possibly one of the Top 10 3B of all-time… but, to each his own… for me, I would think SDS would, at least for a COLLECTION, give us someone that may have been considered the best or top 2-3 at their own position (again, at least)… for example, out of all the COLLECTION rewards we may see this year… most should agree that the community WANTS to see players that would be considered Top 10 all-time, etc… not just a random legend that may have only been Top 10 at their position (maybe Top 50-100 overall all-time) I’m sure I’ll still try to collect him because he’ll be needed for the FUTURE COLLECTION cards I’ll probably want.

Honestly Brett cards are usually pretty close to endgame but not quite there. Being that this is a flashback finest from his best season they might juice it enough to be

We won't see them coming in hot for another month and a half when we get the ASG drops. We might see a 99 POTM Lightning card, but that'll be it before the ASG.
