Noticed a lot of the topps now cards are Overpowered.
What is the point of these cards if they make all the other cards from the past less valuable.
The Bo Bichette topps nowcard is going to be better than any legend card.
is there suppose to be any strategy w/ these topps now cards?
These cards are way more make believe than the Future Stars everyone whined about. In hindsight, I loved the FS series even more now that when I hear x team is calling up their top prospect, it's someone I'm familiar with.
How can you say that? These cards are based off a performance or performances. Future Stars are based off projections. How are Future Stars more believable?

Orel def #1

Marichal has been a workhorse in this event for me, 18-6 3.10 ERA in 40.2 innings. Def think he's underrated. Leiter has been decent so far, but small sample size
-
Smoltz and Palmer I'm not a fan of
Any feedback on wood?

I know it’s been discussed but what is your ranking of favorite/best TA 3 pitchers for those that have them?
I have Orel and think he’s one of the best if not the best starter in the game. I haven’t used any other TA 3 pitchers but am interested in going after one.

Great info. You don’t have to list all 40, but of the popular swings that you have heard, who have you tested? I’ve heard a lot about how chipper has a good swing. I use Kenny lofton. Mondesi is popular. Brian Roberts swing was nice for me early on. Tony Gwynn. Didi’s swing is very quick. I like Deitrich’s too. I’m sure there is more, but of those guys and any other popular swings did you test any?
First, I know I need to test Mondesi, but I kind of just didn't want to. He rakes but I also wanted more loft than I feel he gets. I'll do him next.
The other guys I considered except Brian Roberts, and I'll throw them all in. I was hoping to try to find guys who seem to have a natural launch angle without being popup-prone.
I went dumpster diving for you, and found a list with half my notes. The rest are probably lying around here somewhere.
From these notes, I did:
Moncada, Buxton, Moustakas, Jones '08, Canha, Haniger, Hicks, Pederson, Suarez, La Stella, E. Davis, Brett, Alonso, Blackmon, T. Williams
I'll try to add more later. If I recall, these were the guys I picked first because I went through my stats and looked for outliers.
After this batch, I started just going through the lists (Legends, Current Players), and throwing in guys who've been known to seem glitchy this year, or in the recent past if their card isn't out yet this year.
Solid list. Great info. Another person that may fit your criteria with more lift in his swing and seemed kind of glitchy early on was Muncy. Looking forward to seeing future results!

Where can I find my progress on Reggie Jackson prestige? I see all the progress for every player except Reggie. Is there somewhere else to look?

At what ranking do games go from all star difficulty to hall of fame difficulty?
What are the big differences? Does pitching get better.
-
That makes sense, thanks guy
-
Will Mickey be apart of the Honus collection? If not, should I go for Mickey or hold on to my stubs and wait to see what the collection is? I have the big guys in the AL to get and have around 250k stubs.

It goes towards wherever you are at
So if you're on stage 2 with the Padres and do the 3 Padre moments, it goes towards that
If you're on stage 3 with the Cardinals and do the 3 Cardinal moments, it goes towards that. That makes sense. Thanks a bunch for the clarification!
-
I’m a little confused about these. If we already have stage 1 done will the moments in the stage 1-3 go towards anything?
Or is it only the moments correlated with the stage you’re in that give you TA points?

I think MTO will work. You just have to wait until You get internet to redeem the awards.
Thank you! So you think I’m good to play them all the way through?
-
I don’t have internet where I’m at but want to continue grinding for the TA3. Am I able to do MTO offline and will it still accumulate for when I do have internet or should I just build teams up to the all star break and wait to go further until I have internet??

What is the link for the person that does actual ratings? I’m curious with all the 99s.
-
Why is is easier to hit gaps and HRs at Shippett opposed to other fields such as Franco (the field I usually choose?)
-
Yea I hit a slump yesterday and haven’t picked it up today. Kinda weird. I was extremely late on pitches I’m usually all over.
-
One of the biggest complaints of the game is hitting. And I agree, hitting a HR on a pitch I’m early on and on the edge of my PCI isn’t very satisfying. Even worse when you give up a HR in the same circumstances. Then a perfect perfect is a double play. So what should the breakdown of timing be?
Perfect/perfect: HR 100% if power is over a certain number, 90% over a certain number, 80% over a certain number etc. AND a hit 100% of the time?
Good/Good: HR a certain percent of the time depending on PCI placement and certain power and contact numbers?
Eliminate Good/Okay when ball is in the middle of PCI
Early/late swing could be a time to benefit the contact hitters by rewarding them more. But shouldn’t be a HR
Does SDS have the ability to control these kind of outcomes?
What would be some good breakdowns?
Players you think have the quickest swing?
