I seriously don’t understand why they can’t just change that one line of code from “BRKN FLDNG: Y” to “BRKN FLDNG: N.” Honestly this would have taken me 15 seconds to fix.

@CHYN2233 it's not locked

That setting is already set to N. The setting you are looking for is: "OnlyMakeGameHarderForCertainPeople=1" under conspiracy options.

@Collin_SDS One thing that I haven't seen many people talk about is pickoffs. In one day I had "successfully" picked off runners on 3 separate occasions (that is, the runner either tried to steal second on a lefty pick off or he was just caught on his heels). However, all 3 times the button accuracy was cued up even though I would never get the opportunity to make sure that I got the bar in the green for an accurate throw. This resulted in errors that would ultimately give the runner an extra base when they should have been out.
I don't know if this is a change to this year from past years where pick offs didn't require buttons-accuracy input, but I think it's more likely a bug that needs to be fixed. The fact that it pretty much defaults to bad throws has made me hesitant to pickoff which gives baserunners a strong advantage as they know I won't be doing much to hold them on.

This was a problem last year too, specifically with left handed pitchers. They never addressed it last year either.

If you guys could please communicate more with the community, it would make this process be much more pleasant.
The fact that we went weeks without hearing a word about gameplay is really disappointing as a customer.
I’m glad you guys are still working on it though. Thank you.

Yeah if the god awful fielding issues weren't present, this would be near the top of the list. They never addressed it last year and it needs to be fixed.

Still seeing some issues where OF’s are not locking onto balls. Just had Buxton run down a ball in the gap and let it hit him in the head.
Apologies if this is a repeat comment. 130+ would take a while to go through.

If this patch doesn’t work , after all the time they took, then it’s not looking good boys. From the feedback I would say it’s not going to cut it. They must have really messed up when they did all the new fielding features this year. At this point just cut and paste what u had in 19, never had an issue in previous years. I still don’t get how this wasn’t caught pre release. It’s so prevalent , did anyone test the game???
yes me. I just played it. not better.
I meant test it before they released it to the public, to you know, make sure it worked??? Obv not - just collect that
Keep buying the game, they’ll keep collecting their money.
It’s obvious that they didn’t test stuff before it was sent out. OR
They had it right and when patches were released, it broke it. Either way keep feeding the beast

Short stops on both teams botch routine grounders

See guys?, the ones complaining and making silly posts about fielding will never get fixed?.....use this post to apologize
Apologize for them not having it right at launch? They need to apologize. We are the customer.

Not reading all the comments but the fielding issues are a thing of the past .... haven’t had 1 issue all day and am making plays with ease and even have a confidence I didn’t have before when a ball is hit; as a side note I’ve even thrown a couple out at the plate from OF throws. Now all we need is a pitching control tweak.

The server is down for me.

@Collin_SDS
I just had a situation in an events game on a blooper that was hit between the second baseman and right fielder.
My second baseman was sprinting towards the ball (from his position to RF) and easily got to it in time, but failed to react and it hit him in the back. Unfortunately, I don't record every game because of storage capacity, but I think you get the picture.

I’ve been playing all day, not one issue like this at all. You may want to double check to ensure your update was installed.

Here’s one post patch. There still seems to be some issue with outfielders near the wall.

I was able to get a replay post-game. This occurred hours after I installed 1.09 (unfortunately, this cost me the game as well).
