Whitley will be obsolete come Friday based on these reveals... Oh, and Whitley is by far the agreed upon best pitching prospect for Houston, and every scouting medium available will agree to that. An 83 would have been appropriate for him.

I sure hope not! Why can't they just make more flashback cards!?!? Why is it that Jonathan Schoop the only player that had a breakout year?? We have never complained about breakout, rookie, allstar type of cards, not sure why they can't make more of these instead! Boosting the stats for these wouldn't be as big of deal.

As a Cards fan I was surprised by Gorman's ratings. He has huge power but even if you project his k-rate to improve I feel like his contact ratings are too high. I'm assuming this means we get a better version of Dylan Carlson at some point. I think it's foolish we get these types of cards but then they underrate live series cards and we end up getting a sig series Trout when he's already in his prime now.

When immortals came in in 18 and basically did away with live series cards being relevant except Trout I could see that they were going to the EA/2K model. I would not be surprised if in the next year to 2 years live series cards don't get upgraded at all.

Half your roster is or will be filled with dead guys and retired guys playing with young guys. It's a fantasy game mode. You're more than welcome to start an online league with current rosters, dive into franchise, or go all out and try quick play.
If you don't like fantasy game modes, don't play them. In the meantime, don't come in and [censored] on a game the rest of us enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I will go for Gorman as a Cardinals fan but I am still not a fan of these cards.
Cardinals is the only team affinity that I have done.

This is a fantasy card mode with fantasy players. Personally, I love getting to use these prospect cards bc I'm a huge prospect nerd and love imagining what these guys could be. If you wanna play with someone from the 1950's, go ahead - that's your choice. No one is forcing you to use these cards lol.
And if your argument back is "these are the best cards so I have to use them!" - no, you don't. If you want to use the best cards, then you'll use the best cards no matter who they are.
This won't be anything like 2K until we get ridiculous positions or something like that. Then you can say it is overboard. This is my first time playing DD and to compare it in any way to MyTeam is a complete insult. DD is miles ahead of MyTeam in every way imaginable.
