Some Interesting Legends...

SDS

I got some legends that I would love to see... any thoughts?

Angels- Chuck Finley (1988), Tim Salmon (1995)
Astros- Lance Berkman (2001), Brad Lidge (2005)
Athletics- Miguel Tejada (2002), Barry Zito (2002)
Blue Jays- Vernon Wells (2003), Tom Henke (1989)
Braves- David Justice (1993), Tim Hudson (2010)
Brewers- Jeremy Burnitz (1999), Bill Wegman (1992)
Cardinals- Jack Clark (1987), Chris Carpenter (2005)
Cubs- Aramis Ramirez (2007), Carlos Zambrano (2004)
Diamondbacks- Jay Bell (1999), Dan Haren (2009)
Dodgers- Pedro Guerrero (1983), Fernando Valenzuela (1981)
Indians- Jim Thome (2002), Charles Nagy (1996)
Giants- Kevin Mitchell (1989), Jason Schmidt (2003)
Mariners- Jamie Moyer (2001), Raul Ibanez (2006)
Marlins- Mike Lowell (2003), Kevin Brown (1996)

Nationals- Mark Grudzielanek (1996), John Wetteland (1993)
Orioles- Melvin Mora (2004), Mike Mussina (1992)
Padres- Nate Colbert (1972), Jake Peavy (2007)
Phillies- Bobby Abreu (2004), Brad Lidge (2008)
Pirates- Brian Giles (1999), John Candelaria (1977)
Rangers- Mark Teixeira (2005), Kenny Rogers (1995)
Rays- BJ Upton (2007), Roberto Hernandez (1999)
Reds- Chris Sabo (1991), Randy Myers (1990)
Red Sox- Nomar Garciaparra (2000), Jonathan Papelbon (2008)
Rockies- Vinny Castilla (1998), Brian Fuentes (2005)
Royals- Mike Sweeney (2002), Jeff Montgomery (1993)
Tigers- Magglio Ordonez (2007), Todd Jones (2000)
Twins- Larry Hisle (1978), Johan Santana (2004)
White Sox- Lance Johnson (1993), Esteban Loaiza (2003)
Yankees- Alfonso Soriano (2002), David Wells (1998)

I know some players could have better cards on different teams (Delgado, Abreu...) but I just wanted each team to have an option on the hitting and pitching side of the ball. Let me know if any of this sounds unrealistic!

Have a great day!

SDS

Solid list.

I’d take a 2007 cubs Soriano instead of Ramirez though lol.

SDS

True, both were beasts that year. I chose Ramirez since I think he's more underrated, but Soriano would be a beast too since he can run, especially if he has 2B as a secondary, that would be great defense.

SDS

1991-1993 Prime John Kruk, please.

SDS

Yuck Vernon Wells. I’d much better have a switch hitting Devon White with diamond fielding and 90’s speed/steal

SDS

flash back trout or somethin

flash back trout or somethin

This would be utterly pointless.

SDS

Who knew legends didn't exist before 1990?

Lol. SDS is leaning towards more recent legends, so I did too.

I feel like you should only choose one Lidge. And because Prime John Kruk is the superior choice for the superior person, the Astros can keep him

SDS

I’d prefer 1987 Mark Langston over Moyer

SDS

I’d love to have Randy Myers. I made him as a CAP last year for my 80s decade team. Only lefty reliever available! Glad to see Plesac and Franco now.

SDS

I’d kill for any Phillies throwback. Atleast we got Rollins this year.. can’t wait for the day/year we get a SS Utley and SS Howard.

SDS

I was thrilled last year when the Keith Hernandez 98 dropped.... wasnt a great card for me but its Keith on the Mets how can I go wrong?

Thanks! I didn't realize I had Lidge in there twice.

I’m a Hernandez fan as well! Just a shame he had to be in that [censored] Mets jersey. I hope they give him an a prime card in a Cards Jersey from the year he won MVP.

Actually I think it would be cool to have Lidge as an Astro and his flawless year with the Phillies!

SDS

I would love a Brian Fuentes. Side arm lefty closer.
