I see people continue to clamor for Jeter, and I just don't get it. Is it just because he was able to win many championships? In MLBTS he would just be essentially Rod Carew... a contact hitter with below average power, defense and speed. Again, I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just don't get why everyone wants him when there would be more fun options to use in game as new legends because their card stats would be better, like say, Adrian Beltre.

Anyone who said that Schmidt is an L on the twitch stream must be on something.
Yes, I echo everything already said. Also, it might seem small, but the game presentations could be improved. Being able to have different engines, all with their own type of presentation like ESPN, FOX, and CBS. And maybe like FS1 for playoffs or something. Being able to use Statcast, a better regression system for players and doubleheaders. More fan interaction in the stands, actual ejections from arguing, specializing pitchers to 7th and 8th innings. International pool money and a PTBNL option. Ofc all of the rebrand/relocation/expansion and actual financial control like promotions. FAN INTENSITY DURING MOMENTS LIKE "9th inning, playoffs, walkoffs, historic moments( a players 3000th K or 500th homerun)". A RALLY squirrel and cat. 3 team trades. Hiring financial advisors, mentors, etc. Having celebrities throw first pitches, the WBC. A better wrap up show like a "MLB tonight" where we could see videos of those other moments across the league. Logic to not have all of the games be simulated before yours starts (Ex. If I play in Tampa at 7:30 a game in Colorado at 9:05 should not finish before mine barring a major rain delay, which would not happen since Tampa is domed). I could go on forever.

I know some players could have better cards on different teams (Delgado, Abreu...) but I just wanted each team to have an option on the hitting and pitching side of the ball. Let me know if any of this sounds unrealistic!
Have a great day!
As a guy whose main squad is a Phillies theme team I would love Bobby too!
1.) Madden does have relocation, not really expansion.
2.) Well to find a way around the inability of SDS for quality franchise content, what I've done is I've rebranded a team at the season, release everyone, and literally take two players from each team in free agency, and intentionally draft horribly in the first year. Then the second year is essentially as close as expansion as possible with MLBTS. New team, new stadium, new design, and sign new staff so I can try to do what SDS couldn't- expansion.
Any ideas for not only who could be in the second inning, but what program they could be? (Prime, Signature, All Star)
Being a guy who plays all 162 games, I'd love to see more game themes. If they can get the rights to the ESPN, FS1, TBS score bugs, it would be really nice to change it up every once in a while. Also, more stadiums would be nice, so some ideas I have for some would be:
Kingdome, Astrodome, Qualcomm/Jack Murphy Stadium, Riverfront Stadium, Municipal Stadium, Milwaukee County Stadium, Veterans Stadium, 3 Rivers Stadium, Candlestick, Olympic, and the old Tiger and Busch stadiums

I echo most of what you've said. I've always been one who wants a genuine broadcast-feel experience, and so more broadcasters who can rotate would be something I'd enjoy, as with new "gamebugs" (the part of the screen with the score, runners on base...). I'm not sure if you mean trading draft picks like is done in nfl or nba, but in baseball I think you can only trade compensatory picks, and there a few rules to even that process, so I'm not sure if I agree there. I'd love to see a screen when you're drafting of player comparisons to modern and/or retired players.
Hi everyone!
I'm working on some research i'm using for a college comp sci class, and I'd love to hear opinions.
Here's the data I seek:
Most underrated pitcher of the 21st century?
I'm working on a leverage index on individual pitches, so name some post '90s high stress moments. (E.g. Should a changeup be the pitch thrown in a 3-1 count in the WS?) (E.g. Rajai Davis 2016 HR in WS Gm7)
Do you think there is a certain stat that can be linked to a team's window? (e.g. is a team having a .10 higher OBP than average more likely to be in contention for x more years than another who is at league average?)
I understand there may be other flaws to this data, but given that it is just to start and not serious sabermetric analysis yet, I'd appreciate it anyways!
Thanks! I wish you all a great, safe day! I hope for a good game tonight, regardless of who you root for!

We have to consider that this legend would be a 99 as that is what they all have been so far and we can eliminate a player from the first 11.
We also have to look at players that completed no hitters and cycles due to Milestones.
They announced it to be a Milestone series card?

Odds of new legend being Jeter and finally making Yankee fans happy?
I say 50/50 based on HOF induction today. Some say he's "too big" a name for a September release but I think he actually fits the bill.
Last year it was Thome and Henke I believe.
And Salmon. But I'm still upset they dropped Buehrle, one of my faves.
i got a feeling its a 90s legend. Maybe Viola for the Twins?

Koufax, Drysdale, Nomo, Ramon Martinez, Ron Cey, the list goes on and on and on
Never heard of Martinez until now. Thanks!
Really?
Yeah it must've been an oversight on my part, because I love learning about these type of more obscure stars.

Definitely will never see Wetteland. Google him and you’ll see what a disgrace of a human he is.
Oh gosh, thanks for letting me know, I had no idea. I had just seen him on the top lists for relievers and slot him in, but you're definitely right.
