Not sure if anything on the backend is happening, but in the last 30 minutes the app has slowed down to where it’s almost taking 2 minutes just to bring up a player. I really hope this is to target bots, but I can only hope this gets resolved before the new legend and flashback comes out

it’s been like this since 2 Wednesday ago since a server reset. It got better the other day but now a restriction is out on you if you’re making too many orders. Which is really dumb. And as of a few hours ago the app is down. Also can’t even log into the dashboard for this came on the website.

The last couple of times I’ve tried using the app, I couldn’t get anything to load in a reasonable amount of time before getting distracted off my phone. I suspect the slowdown is related to bot activity, although obviously not intentionally.
In the past, when the app has been this slow, the marketplace on console has also been sluggish. Today, the console marketplace seems pretty normal. My guess is there are a lot of players actively using the marketplace this weekend, and the bots are adding an enormous amount of unnecessary traffic on top of that.
The way I see it, every time a legitimate player bids, buys, or sells something, I suspect bots are refreshing listings, placing undercutting bids, deleting bids, and repeating the process. Essentially, every human transaction triggers even more bot activity. They’re not just competing with legitimate players anymore; they’re multiplying the traffic everyone has to deal with. At some point, all that unnecessary activity has to take a toll. -
The app is unusable......again. two minutes to load a screen. Fetching data. I don't understand what you guys are doing.

Can we just chalk at this point and take all these restrictions off. Obviously whatever you guys are trying to do isnt working except ruining it for real people. Its November and im still getting my account restricted for buying 10 75 ovr cards. Baseball season is over, call of duty is out, gta 6 is about to be out. Lets just throw it all in the trash and start fresh next year for the new game. All your doing at this point is hurting your own sales for next year's game.

Can no longer confirm if the account restricted thing is a problem, because it takes legitimately a minute between each transaction… miserably slow

The app could not be slower. It takes 2 mins to place one order. Been super slow since Friday. Plus if it does work you get restricted after 6 orders

@SDS_JoeK_PSN the app has been unusable for the entire weekend with the exception of a few hours during the day Saturday.

The app is so slow on Android, it was working good for a bit Saturday but now it's back to being really slow again

App is running smooth now, but still getting restricted. Not as often or for too long but still annoying.

I've been told these restrictions were due to a setting in the backend that has now been adjusted.

Legitimate human players are already at a pretty severe disadvantage in the marketplace, and these account freezes are just kneecapping us further. If the intention is to fix this, can we get it done ASAP? With new collections coming this weekend, this is when marketplace activity is at its peak. Between the app being unusable for most of the weekend and these ongoing interruptions, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for legitimate human players to unload cards they’ve invested in all season specifically with this collection window in mind.
