Thank you pack -> ban hammer
-
Well, this is why I TRY to stay off X. People are giving me
just for saying this was a great move, and then I had a content creator delete a tweet after I questioned the ethics of doing paid runs for people... only for another top player (I guess?) to jump in and attack me over it. Good Lord.At this point, maybe the ban hammer should remain infinitely dropped on all these cheaters, exploiters, third-party stub buyers/promoters, and people doing WS runs on other players’ accounts. Then maybe the part of the community that actually follows the rules can just play and enjoy the game.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL Doesn't surprise me in the slightest...they're gonna be out for blood, digitally speaking. They're gonna try and remove anything that makes them look guilty, and tweets that pain them in their rightful negative light.
We also know there's a good portion of "top players" that are using additional hardware, so to speak. That's why they get some darn touchy about posts like that

I've been super involved in the community for a few years now.
I was in all of the Facebook groups, Reddit, on Twitter a bit.
My gosh, this is the ONLY place where people aren't constantly toxic.
I just don't understand how people can't understand right vs. wrong. Call me an old head, but ::insert Jim Halpert WHAT IS GOING ON?! gif here:: -

The third party stub buys allowed them that.
I used to enjoy reddit, but it's basically become a gaslight chamber.

lol I am also 39. With a wife and 2 kids. Tried to become involved in the community through various platforms... I left the Facebook groups, I left Reddit. I would leave X but it's how I get my MLBTS and NFL news.

In some cases its time vs money. Pay to win became popular in Asia where work culture is even worse than it is in the states...people don't have the time to grind.
And a lot of online players don't like doing anything but playing with god squads online so will happily pay to skip the grind.
Its like the people that pay for level skips in MMORPGs. Personally the levelling experience is by far my favorite part, but if they want to get the money from those that don't enjoy it thats fine by me.

I havent played in a few days. Have all these bans created a noticeable reduction in botting on the market?
-
@Bridge-Piece_XBL Totally agree, man.
So many of these people were insufferable about it, too, which makes it all the funnier. -
My only hope is this also caught up a lot of the WBC exploiters.
While I am happy to see this ban the WBC exploit still bothers me

I was wondering if the actual "innocent" people from this ban are actually just WBC glitch exploiters.

Not at all. Prices have crashed hard and botting activity is unchanged. *unless you deal with diamond equipment or sponsorship.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL whoa, I never thought of it that way.
