Probably not a bad idea. Even if you have to buy him back at like 250-300k in a couple weeks thats still a nice profit. Plus there has to be more signature cards coming.

It's not a paywall as such, but it is highly predatory and contingent on extreme luck (despite what the investment bros will tell you).
I only have to complete the program to get Beltran.
I'm fortunate in that i packed both Judge and Ohtani early (and Judge again a few weeks later).Without that luck, i'd still be miles off like most people.
I just hope FOMO doesn't get the better of people this week.
They don't deserve your money and rest assured, Beltran isn't going to move the needle for anyone in any meaningful sense. -

It's not even a paywall at all. Paywall means you have to pay money to access something. This does not require you to pay any money at all to get any of the rewards.
I haven’t spent money and didn’t start grinding hard until a few weeks ago to get Victor and I can unlock Beltran today.

Just got Beltran and I’m no money spent. These big collections shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at this point. Yes, it’s a lot to collect, but you should be collecting these cards through out the year. Try to obtain cards after flash sales and whatnot when market prices are down. If you wait until the day the collection reward releases and cards like Leiter are up to 500k that’s kind of on you.

100 percent. You have to build your collection when cards are down during flash sales, don’t open packs and do not overpay for the new shiny cards.

@SaveFarris_PSN fair maybe I just used to pay less attention to more lucrative cards. I only rly started going rly hard at getting the best cards last cpl years even tho I was always competitive. I’ve been a ws player since 20.

I hear this. I can afford it now but it would be stupid when it's going to become so much cheaper literally next weekend. Weekend classic will make finishing the all star program dirt cheap, next spotlight/topps now will make that way cheaper, and I just can't overpay for the finest Oday Leiter or the postseason cards. I sold my Mookie because I'll be patient. I'm just hoping I stay strong for a week because that's such an awesome card lol
