Everyone wants the new card and thinks they can’t win online ranked games if they don’t have the newest card lol. And most people trying to get it don’t even play online!

It's not even a paywall at all. Paywall means you have to pay money to access something. This does not require you to pay any money at all to get any of the rewards.
I haven’t spent money and didn’t start grinding hard until a few weeks ago to get Victor and I can unlock Beltran today.

Just got Beltran and I’m no money spent. These big collections shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at this point. Yes, it’s a lot to collect, but you should be collecting these cards through out the year. Try to obtain cards after flash sales and whatnot when market prices are down. If you wait until the day the collection reward releases and cards like Leiter are up to 500k that’s kind of on you.

100 percent. You have to build your collection when cards are down during flash sales, don’t open packs and do not overpay for the new shiny cards.

@SaveFarris_PSN fair maybe I just used to pay less attention to more lucrative cards. I only rly started going rly hard at getting the best cards last cpl years even tho I was always competitive. I’ve been a ws player since 20.

I hear this. I can afford it now but it would be stupid when it's going to become so much cheaper literally next weekend. Weekend classic will make finishing the all star program dirt cheap, next spotlight/topps now will make that way cheaper, and I just can't overpay for the finest Oday Leiter or the postseason cards. I sold my Mookie because I'll be patient. I'm just hoping I stay strong for a week because that's such an awesome card lol

I know I've given you a hard time in some responses but this one's fair. There's no reason they couldn't include online missions for good points too. At least the mini seasons is optional and the majority of the missions can be completed doing the conquest which gives good packs. The moments you don't have to do all of them either if you do all of the missions. I typically hate and avoid moments like the plague lol

@Thongypu_PSN thank you I appreciate the understanding. This year is sucking for online players. Prior years I would go into battle royale and try to complete that program. Event programs were alot longer, events were never completed in 10 games or less prior. Etc. Im literally forced to play ranked or go offline at this point. Sucks. Whoever is in charge now, these guys are idiots man.

Al Leiter is almost 500k. Imm seriously considering selling him and waiting for a flash sale
Probably not a bad idea. Even if you have to buy him back at like 250-300k in a couple weeks thats still a nice profit. Plus there has to be more signature cards coming.
I bought him originally for 181k. I can’t pass up on this much profit. I only need one voucher, so I’ll sell him and do the ASG collection when it becomes cheaper.
Edit: Just woke up and saw him at 840k… Holyyyyyy

I quit Madden when Ray Lewis was on the cover and have never purchased again and don't miss it at all even though I love football. MLB The Show is fast trending here. I don't mind a grind as I have most of the collections done as far as Miggy, Tulo and Martinez. This is in spite of never pulling Judge, Ohtani, chase card (not one) and only one rare card (base Roch) the whole year. This level of unrewarding is just getting too much. I obviously don't mind working but getting some bones would be nice. Way too many collections on this one with cards well over 100k. Mookie's card - absolutely ridiculous. Leiter's card - absolutely ridiculous. You get the picture.
Another thing really pissing me off this year is people like YFK who can glitch to get to WBC packs, get stubs and promote a 3rd party stub vendor that has 1 million stubs for $70. People cheating this game everywhere with zero repercussions. Yet people playing this game legit just get bent over. I find it hard to believe these 3rd party stub sites are not the reason for these absolutely ridiculous card prices. Bots have really messed this market up bad and SDS is doing nothing. Do the WBC glitch? Fine by SDS. Buy 3rd party stubs? Fine. Use any of the 3rd party cheat devices? Fine.
Be really interesting to see how next year goes. This seems to be a year of empty promises and lack of action by SDS to people that really deserve to be banned cheating the game.

I sold Simmons yesterday at 270k and he is 370k now. Not as bad as Leiter, but still hurts.

Don't get it why people think it's P2W. There's no pay walls in the game, and you can get stubs and the best cards just by playing.
Listen, there are many reasons to hate SDS. No need to make some reasons up.
