Been playing online a lot this weekend for the challenges, haven't run in to any sweats or cheaters. Have had some really fun games.

Pars the size of beach balls yet some guys can clip the outside of the strikezone with every pitch. They cant hit until its 2 outs or they are losing then its hard hit after hard hit. Click on their profile and lo and behold, another 2k player.
This weekend has changed my opinion on the people who are complaining about having to play online. Yall are right, who wants to put up with this [censored]? Now that the casuals have left every game is either a sweat or a cheater.
I try not to cuss on this forum, but [censored] you sds. This problem should have been fixed along with the bots a long time ago. You have a discord with 40k users and yall cant find these cheaters. Weve reported them and they are still here.
I’ve been complaining about this all year, how can people always clip the corners with guys with 60 control and pars the size of a planet. It’s like the discord changed the guidelines and instructed them to use the cheats while pitching and to get a few runs here and there on offense.

After playing this weekend, I can see why people cheat. No way does the "mechanics/physics" work anymore. I've been playing the events. I don't know how many 100+ EV, 25–30-degree loft ends with a line out in the middle of the outfield. And then I play rank and a guy is hitting bombs with 95 MPH EV. Make it make sense.

I mean this with all due respect, but I haven’t run into any cheaters in my 300 or so games. I highly doubt anyone is running into them in the lower levels of Ranked. I’ve never run into any in events (which I play a lot).
With good control pitchers - perfect tracing and release can dot pitches. There’s also bear down pitching which shrinks the PARS.
I’m also not the best player (850ish) and frankly dot quite a good deal of pitches myself.
But in events like moonshot I also hang my fair share as well.

The clipping the zone is a Fn joke. Seems like a lot of the Cronus Zen pitchers can’t hit very well on legend/hof.
I’m guessing once they figure out how to use that device on 2k it’s going to be easy on other games.

If I'm just not noticing them, shouldn't I be losing a lot more? I am not very good at this game, yet I still win online far more than I lose. Are the cheaters hiding it so well that they are losing on purpose? If so, that seems like an odd use of a cheat. Cheating but losing and not gaining much in the way of stats is pretty strange.

I’m not arguing or saying there are more cheaters. But the game loves clipping the zone. Go play a mini seasons. Doesn’t matter the difficulty they dot the [censored] out of you. So maybe it’s cheating in some cases absolutely. I just think it’s how the game is designed. Maybe I’m wrong IDK. We’ll never get a real answer one way or the other.

The pitching cheat device does not have a hitting cheat with it. Many people struggle with pitching in this game. This device eliminates that struggle. I can use pinpoint very well but with the PARS, I can't nip the edge all the time. I see this frequently.
If they were to ever ban these people you would see a noticeable difference in pitching.

Seriously...we all face people who can dot the corners like a master marksman. Just cause you perceive that people are cheating does not necessarily mean they are. It is a skill issue if nothing else. If you throw the same pitch pattern constantly you will be easily read and get walked all over. If you swing at every conceivable pitch you will NEVER hit anything cause it means you have the discipline of a toddler who would rather go right to dessert than eat the full meal.
What I'm trying to say is you need to learn patience. Otherwise you're going to be frustrated continuously.
Also...the casuals are not gone from the game yet. I'm one of them and honestly you grouping everyone who you think just plays to play into one lumped group tells me that you are part of that group too.

This puts you firmly in the top 10% of players, so strictly speaking you are one of the best players.
I do agree on your take about the bear-down pitching though. My counterpoint to that is that only works a couple times consecutively. When you see someone with JR Richard's Cityscape card constantly dotting(his PAR is literally half the zone), it's a major tell.
