@SpawnOfDitka_XBL BR isn't as bad as you think now - lots of newer people seem to be on to get program done. If you lose against a really good player, you'll usually get 3 pretty bad players after that.

Yeah I expected the BR part to be much harder than it was. I only needed to use 2 entries to get the 5 wins.

@Pergo_MLBTS i have 3 wins in my first entry right now. Its not bad at first. Until after you get 3 or 4 wins in an entry. Then bring on the 1000 rated goats who are almost impossible to beat.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL Yeah I hear that. Its almost a relief losing that first game becasue then you get some better matchups lol.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL my point was only about the hard missions - you should definitely get acuna (not doing so will just cost you more). Im not sure if you should sell him - his value could shoot up, after completion of this program?

I like the hard missions and am halfway through finishing them - but I dont think their value is very high. (I dont even think it has good value if youre an elite player - let alone if youre average)

The majority of players that have them finished would have finished them on accident without knowing a program was out. 5 wins and PXP is something they do hourly. You can make 75k by other means, but this is the first time online players have got 75k for playing the game. It’s as much value as a WS reward… for 5 wins…

I haven’t got 75k from a single conquest or mini season all year and this is just as fast and 10000000000x more enjoyable.

I’m close to finishing the mediums, don’t think the 75k will be obtainable for me but the extra XP and the Acuna are nice features. I may try out the BR, not sure if it’s worth my time or not. I’ll probably give it a go for an entry or two

@Teak2112_MLBTS I found last year's TA made me actually want to grind it out for the cards. Even between "larger" content drops I'd just go back and drop into those programs and work on them...it was more to play for in between everything, ya know?

I think I need one more ranked W and I've got Acuna. Knowing my luck I'll run into the Top 4 players on Playstation lol

    @Sarge1387_PSN

It’s funny isn’t it? I need 1 win and 3 HRs but I keep running into Nolan Ryan.

I simply can’t hit him. He’s kind of mean

I try to just sit offspeed but I of course start chasing the fastball like an idiot. That FB/change combo is brutal

@JenkinMeyer_PSN His 102-103 is tuned differently than Miz's as well. I can hit Miz...Ryan? Not so much

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS yeah, it can be efficient if you were going to do most of the stuff anyway.

But, if youre more of an offline guy, you could just stick to the normal stuff you do to make stubs and be just fine.

It took me 7 BR games, 3 Ranked, and a little cpu play to do the hard missions. I feel like thats pretty fast - but still takes a lot of time. I certainly could've made as many stubs or more doing other stuff.

I took one look at the hard objectives and said screw this. As a below average player, a couple of them are probably way too hard for me to ever complete. But it worked out because I really don't have a spot for Acuna in my lineup so I sold him for 60k and got most of those stubs anyway.

@whitejw98_MLBTS you probably should have gambled and held Acuna just in case his price goes up. Which ones are too hard for you?

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS BR wins is the big one. I haven't played BR in years because I was losing so often that it just wasn't worth the effort anymore. 10 hits in an online game is tricky for me too, because I'm awful at hitting. I think id get there eventually but it might take a lot more games than I have time for. The other objectives are doable, but I messed up and sold Castellanos because I didnt know id be needing him. And the thought of wasting a bunch of effort flipping to buy him back is what killed my motivation for good lol

@whitejw98_MLBTS the 10 hits I would spit my opponent like 4-5 runs just to keep them in the game. People are more likely to stay that way. BR was just a numbers game. Play it enough and you will get those 5

Finished it up today. The 15 runs in ranked was probably the hardest, because I was in the 700 range on HOF and stink on HOF. I left the 24 Ks for last which was the right call I think. Kind of funny to jump in to a rookie mini-season game and just blow guys away with Clemens. I think I struck out the first 18 guys in a row before they finally hit one of the up and in fastball.

Do the strikeouts have to be done in Mini-Seasons?
I just struck out 22 on Veteran at Coors in a vs. CPU game. Didn't realize it until I had about 17, lol. Needed 4 late, and tried the 'Dropped 3rd strike' trick to get 4 in one inning. I was doing a game with mostly collection rewards players' PXP for completed LS teams. Opened with reliever Mark Davis, who k'd 8 in a row at one point after he walked 2 in the 1st inning! He had 9 in 3 innings, Anibal Sanchez 13 in 6.

No they definitely don't have to be done in mini-seasons. It can be done anywhere. I just decided to do it in the new mini-season to get the XP to count towards Mauer.

Ahhhhh. Smart. I'll try that for Mauer.
