This is a problem year after year. What is going on at sds? Year after year of terrible servers, every year there is a new exploit that goes unpunished, the bots have ruined the market, theres thousands of cheaters, they couldnt fix pci shrinkage, hader has been broken for years.
What are they doing there?
-
@go4stros25_PSN it’s been rly hit or miss for me this year sometimes I can’t get in other times my game plays fine it’s very very weird.
-
Just finished a Mini Season game and the servers crashed. Hoping the game stats populated correctly. Disappointing year for sure with all the issues.
-
This game is down more than its up
-
@go4stros25_PSN its never been this bad. It's had its moments, but any online game does. This year is just non stop.
-
@LIONED-33_XBL ive played madden in the past and last year I played college football ultimate team, a game vastly more popular that the show, and not once in over 500 hours was i unable to play the game. Ive never seen menus this laggy in any video game ever.
Ive never played a game with this many bugs. The release of cyberpunk2077 comes to mind, but they fixed that game. Sds hasnt fixed anything except for when its a bug that benefits us or hurts their potential stub sales.
-
@go4stros25_PSN u must have never gotten on after a sizeable content drop i remember last year with madden one that sticks out is the blitz promo. Servers were pretty shakey then. But never as bad as this years mlb.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I havent played madden in years.
-
Man, I almost feel for the devs and team at SDS...this year has been an absolute disaster, whether it's complete lack of content the community's letting them hear about, gameplay that appears to have taken a step back, server instability...
-
The survey they send out at the end of the year will be a doozy with all the negative feedback they receive.

@Sarge1387_PSN I dont. I work in oil and gas. They have an easy office job in california. Their workplace is probaly all sunshine and feelings with yoga balls and bean bags. They are sheltered and entitled college kids and if they were in any other field where they would be expected to contributed to the infrastructure of society they would have all been fired by now.
This level of incompetency wouldnt be tolerated at walmart. They let a glitch go through unoticed that gave thousands of packs to playes for free. Others had to buy or spend days of gameplay to get what the exploiters gained in a few hours for free. Amd what were the cinsequences? They are lucky the didnt get sued.
I guarantee most of the devs at sds dont even like baseball.
-
I tried at 930 ET and the screens took so long to load that I didn't even try to play a game

I dont. I work in oil and gas
I get it, by comparison they have it easy.

Certainly not wrong, although I'm not sure about the suit thing though.
I guarantee most of the devs at sds dont even like baseball.
I think this is also one of the principle issue, not just with SDS but sports gaming as a whole right now. I wouldn't be surprised if much of the development is outsourced.

@Sarge1387_PSN I work in oil and gas.
In a different thread you said:
I have 600 hours...
The game was released on March 13. That's 101 days (not counting today, which is unplayable right now). That's averaging 6 hours a day. Your job must not be that time consuming/stressful/important if you're able to play 6 hours a day on average. I'm a teacher, and I have summers off. I feel like I play a LOT. Even then, I'm averaging about 2.83 hours a day... WITHOUT having a job during the summer.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN the only reason they havent been sued is becsue it would cost too much time and money. It would also take a high level of pettiness, but i can assure you that them selling a product to 1 person while allowing others to gain and keep the same product for free by breaking an agreed upon contract (tos) with zero consequence would be a civil case a court would hear.
-
@go4stros25_PSN now it’s usally pretty shakey after big drops like me seasons or like Christmas, blitz for a cpl hours after them.
-
@go4stros25_PSN there is still time. They may get a class action law suit for anyone who spent money on stubs this year, because of the pack glitchers. Mainly because they didnt do anything about it, besides make a post on Twitter. This would absolutely be a civil matter that would be heard. It only takes one person to lawyer up.
-
@go4stros25_PSN as a software dev, that's not how things work. As game devs, a lot of them are going to be working crazy hours, including 100+ during crunch time. Corporate overlords are always demanding more while not replacing people who quit. Working anywhere sucks these days, even if it's an office job instead of a manual labor job.
-
Looks like its still down?
-
Just want to let everyone know that we're looking into this. Thanks!
