*** AI Exploiting Buys and Sells???
-
I don't deny that there are bots. But yesterday I put sell orders in for about 6 or 7 cards. They were quickly undercut but I just left them out there and they all sold within 24 hours (most within an hour or two)
When I sold Soto this afternoon, 3 bots presumably, where undercutting each other by 1stub. 45 minutes later he sold.

FWIW the last 2 days have been the lightest bot activity in months. I think SDS is trying this week to combat it. Whether it’s the constant app updates or then paying attention, something is resulted in less bots. There’s still more work to be done, but I notice a difference. Might also have something to do with lots of cards going up and down with new collection and cards that haven’t had much bot attention have become the cards people are going for. Either way, the bots have been awful and it’s a huge problem. If you’re just looking for a yes or no if they exist - they definitely do.

This is just Dolenz preparing a market crash for Ted and Berkman
If your Internet strangely goes out it’s a city wide test. Nothing to fear
Flickering lights means it’s working

Is there something going on where people now have AI programs to undercut you? This afternoon, every time I set a buy or sell on a few players, INSTANTLY my price is undercut by 1. Both buys and sells. It is not that someone sees my price and then sets it, it's instantaneous. I tested it multiple times with going way higher on a buy price, to again see it happen. It is almost instant.
For example, Buys were at like 7500, I set 7505, boom it goes over. So I tested my theory and went to 8333, 8334. I cancel, then it cancels, to where their bot is still highest.
I hope SDS looks into this. Pull down the app to require only in console buys and sells until this is addressed. It was just a matter of time before someone did this. It's ruining the market. This is not on all cards, but I saw it on Goldschmidt and Trea Turner today.
Wouldn’t a captcha be better?
-
I was seeing it too today. I’d place a sell order, then someone or something would IMMEDIATELY cancel theirs and undercut mine. In a nanosecond
-
I was hoping that the bots had been at least controlled but they appear to be out of control again tonight.
What is the point of collections if you can't even collect players? I'm just so sick of this [censored].
-
The market is so broken now, move a margin up and the bots follow, move the margin back down and the bots follow you down again. Basically not even trying to get the card just blocking.
Can not wait for GTA 6 to come out so I have something other then this bugged game to play.
FIX YOUR GAME SDS

Personally, I think it is SDS. This market being usable to gain stubs for free is losing them money. Like every other game platform. They’re manipulating the market to be sure eager players are paying real money for stubs. Just the same as how they manipulate the AI for hitting and pitching. There are days when everyone is hot and there are days when everyone can’t buy a hit.

What’s really weird is the market was actually viable on Saturday and by Sunday all the margins magically dried up. It’s very suspicious to say the least. Whether it’s bots, SDS, or both it’s discouraging for sure. I had hope for a moment but that is now gone.

@TripleH-4481_PSN
I have been following this closely for the last couple of years and I also noticed no bots on Saturday. It was awesome. The feeling was like it used to be but then by Sunday the bots were back in full force. I thought SDS might have shut it down but I guess not. It was either a third party that got scared or SDS was busy banning people. I had another thought on the slow menus. Maybe it has something with all these bot transactions/inputs hitting the servers. Maybe the bots are overwhelming the servers and slowing it down. I actually thought they may be affecting gameplay as well. Even offline it feels like I am late on input much more this year than the past. -
Yes the market was night and day this weekend. By late Saturday it was drying up and by Sunday it was toast. I agree that it has to at least partially be bots running mini seasons and the market non stop bogging the servers down.
They are never great but this year is next level bad. The gameplay experience on the whole this year has been extremely unrewarding at best and miserable at worst.
-
Yeah I saw this nonsense last night, was trying to do a little flipping of equipment because the margins actually weren't horrible for once...same garbage. Input an order and instantly one upped by one stub. I'd delete my buy, and again instantly the bot order would disappear. Got frustrated and gave up.
-
Yep, that’s been my experience all year except for Saturday morning until mid afternoon and then back to the same old [censored]. I thought things had finally shifted but no go.
-
Man, bots are bast-ards

Yup exactly, got so frustrated that I ended up buying cards I wanted and going down to 12k again, I mean what's the point of stubs when you can't even make any by working the market. I'm very close to just giving up this year. Friday/Saturday were great and Sunday was a nightmare.
I hate the bots so much

This is just Dolenz preparing a market crash for Ted and Berkman
if that's what @dolenz_psn wants, I support it 100%

I tried to give him 50k stubs but he’s too honest. There should be a Zelle in video games
-
I was feeling a little better about the market this weekend. Like @savefarris_psn said in another post, margins opened up a little and I was able to flip about 100k in profits. By this morning, all the cards I was flipping (Egg Hunt and St. Pat's) had tightened up again.
-
Yep it was short lived as the bots are back in full force.
-
Maybe they actually were working that day and just got beat.
Encouraging if they’re trying to do stuff over the weekend. Trying to find some positives
