I couldn't be more disappointed in MLB The Show as a franchise. Im not typically so.eone who complains about things in general and especially not a video game but enough is enough. The menus are terrible, the companion app is clunky and slow. Im a much older MLB The Show fan so I have seen the evolution over the years. I want to like the game because I love baseball and I appreciate how this game brings fans closer together. It should be embarrassing for SDS but I think they are so disconnected they don't see it or they just don't care. I work for a wonderful company that puts its employees and customers first. SDS doesn't get it. This game is heading for failure. I hope there is a development company out there listening to the baseball community and steps up. The baseball community is a very special community with a passion for the sport and everything it stands for. SDS does not represent themselves or the baseball community with any care or passion whatsoever. Someone please give us a new game soon.

I can’t wait to see what Pro Spirit looks like these days. Counting down for that game in July.

Agree with every single word you wrote. I strongly suspect there are many within SDS who agree with every word you wrote also. But, they are ordered to keep their opinions to themselves. SDS reports to SIE, and when Sony took over they implemented a raft of layoffs, and repeated the same cycle several more times over the years. Sony sees SDS and in turn MLB The Show as nothing more than a cash cow, and when they bleed it white they will sell off the pieces and keep the profits and never look back.

SDS stopped being a company that runs a unique baseball video game out of passion and desire to be the best. They are now a wholly owned corporate subsidiary. I think it's a lousy time for a truly talented video game coder to try to make a living. The industry is in a horrible state as big corporations have bought up the once independent studios and call the shots for profit maximization vice quality.

Thank you for adding to what I think community and SDS needs to hear. It ducks that we feel this way. I honestly have never given a bad review on anything or towards anyone ever. I don't hold companies or individuals to a standard of perfection. Thats not where my heart is. We are all spending time any money towards something that cleary does not appreciate it back.

I think that’s gonna ding SDS a lot more than people are willing to admit. Really really bad timing on SDS’ part to go off half-cocked and think it’ll fly, in a year when we’re seeing Black Flag resynced, the Fable reboot, and knocks on wood GTA.

I’m just glad people are actually speaking out against SDS this year. It’s been years of blindly simping and defending this company even though the writing was on the wall of where things were heading.
