@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS Aaron judge won a silver slugger and rookie of the year, was voted an all star, and finished 2nd in mvp voting. He is also a Yankees. He also kept his pace basically all year. Doesn’t Walker won’t get it but judge is one of the exception then the rule.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is what SDS uses for attributes:

    Contact - BA & K%
    Power - ISO & HR%
    Vision - BB% & K%

So for Pages, his BA is way up, but so is his BABIP (.382 way above league average and way over last years number so people assume he’ll regress to the mean). He may get a bump up in contact but his K% is also up so it won’t be much.

His ISO is flat at .187 and his HR% is actually down.

Walks are up so maybe an uptick to vision but again, his K% is also up.

I think they’ll bump him up 1 possibly 2 but I don’t see him going diamond.

Muncy is intriguing, his BA is waaay up and his BABIP at .316 is slightly above league avg (.295). His BB% and K% are a touch worse than last year but not far off from career avg. His ISO and HR% are up so his power is off to a better start. He’s not going diamond but could be upgraded to a low gold.

Take my analysis with a grain of salt, especially since SDS does wonky things sometimes with upgrades that surprise even the most veteran attribute investors.

Contact is avg vs L, vs R
Power is iso vs L, vs R
    Vision is K%
They don't use K rate for contact, hr rate for power or walk rate for vision.

With discipline gone is it possible BB rate ends up in vision somehow now? It would be weird having something so important not factor into an overall.

@Ditka06_MLBTS I think he could go even higher than 92, but wouldn’t be surprised if price doesn’t get that high.

Yordon and mason miller will go up to the 90+ barrier .Lindor and Jose Ramirez will go down. It’s kind of an MLB The Show tradition that Lindor and JRam drop below 90 then trickle back up before the end of the season.

@GoozeFn_PSN if he goes to a 92 you dont think his price will go up? Why are ohtani and judge so high at 92s. Is it because alot of people have pulled him already because he is an 89? Meaning his card is already out there and alot of people already have him? Couldnt we say the same for the low golds going up?

@Ditka06_MLBTS Yes, but he’s also a reliever. Pitchers and especially relievers don’t seem to go as high. I think he’ll go up, but probably not what you’d think. People are holding him expecting him to go up too.

    @Ditka06_MLBTS

I don’t know what else they upgrade to get him to a 92, he’s near maxed already. Maybe better control and clutch, but as someone else said, he’s a reliever, 17 innings is a tough sample size to make that big a jump. If he continues, which no one doubts, he may get to 92 mid-year.

I think Edwin hit the highest reliever mark in 2022 at 94, but that wasn’t till the end of the year if I remember correctly.

@GoozeFn_PSN Yeah, I see that Pages is gonna go up now with that 3-dinger game. Also true, Max Muncy is kind of like a strikeout machine, but so is Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Munetaka Murakami, Kyle Schwarber, Cal Raleigh, etc. Half, if not at least most power hitters are strikeout machines; there's a reason why they aren't called "power contact hitters". (Sorry if this seems AI-generated, its cuz I use Grammarly.) I won't be surprised if Teoscar Hernandez goes down, dude is just an absolute strikeout machine. Can't believe Ryan Ward is being blocked by someone who strikes out so much and is a nuisiance to hitting and fielding overall. But I say Muncy will go up to 80 gold. Also Munetaka Murakami should become at least an 82 gold (hopefully im right), start duplicate buying the live series Murakami card now before bro potentially becomes a diamond.

@Christuffer9917_PSN Murakami is in interesting one. His upgrade will really only come from power and they started it fairly high. Low gold seems right.
