Live stream said this was a TA replacement but

    1. Many teams got no cards
    2. Program is a joke with little rewards and way to easy to complete
    3. Many (not all) people WANT the multiple programs that take time to earn, you act like its a psoitive that this was removed!
    4. Dont act like TA was limiting the cards you could release. 2023 exists. Or 2024 where every team got an action figure card, you put them in packs, and had them as mode rewards

The drop today is fine, but its NOT a TA replacement.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Not giving every team a card is a massive fail with all these cards. You’re right, it’s not enough of a grind either. Bring back TA.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Literally how is it a TA replacement if not every team has a card? There is nothing, at all, that would make anyone think of this content as TA related other than them saying so. I'm not even hating on the content, but there is no world where it has anything to do with TA.

@mietha_PSN they said this was a TA replacement of sorts on stream, alluding to the fact you don’t have to do a TA grind to get your hands on the cards (you just have to pack or spend stubs on them 😃)

plus they leaned into the franchise cornerstone/‘this is what this guy meant to this team’ angle

As far as I can see. These teams did not get a card in Cityscapes

    Athletics
    Blue Jays
    Diamondbacks
    Giants
    Marlins
    Nationals
    Padres
    Rockies
    Royals
    White Sox

I'd rather cut back on cards in packs and have more to bring for in programs but I guess they don't make more money like that

Or leave the pack as is and add some of the following to the program (glancing at Dolenz list):

    Tyler Soderstrom - As
    Shawn Green - Blue Jays
    Christian Walker - Diamondbacks
    Willie McCovey - Giants
    Marcel Ozuna - Marlins
    Juan Soto - Nationals
    Tony Gwynn - Padres
    Brenton Doyle - Rockies
    Kris Bubic - Royals
    Luis Aparicio - White Sox

they replaced TA with a money grab. if you're earning cards for free then you're not spending money on packs. how else can they justify putting over 1/2 the cards in the store?

They keep catering to the everybody gets everything crowd and while I’m happy everyone has a full binder of cards they’ll never use it’s just not as fun to have the exact same cards/team as everyone.

One thing you don’t EVER hear them say anymore is that the best cards are all behind a grind and you can’t buy them. You can, you can buy every card in this game now. Grinding out something for yourself just doesn’t even matter anymore which kinda ruins the satisfaction in getting the cards to use to begin with.
