LOL listen to the community? Listen I do live The Show and it is pretty much the best baseball game out there, but be serious. SDS doesn't care anymore, that became blazingly obvious when they straight up lied and said SHRINKAGE was indeed removed in ALL DD game modes. Yet it is still there they know it and won't even comment on it. Combine that with the dumpster fire of RNG hitting and pitching where a 80+ power hitter gets a perfect perfect line out as mich as a hit and pitching might as well just be a coin flip onnsteike and ball calls as if angle Hernandez and CB Buckner are both your umpires. Then cover this by simply saying "game is playing as intended" yet won't actually explain how. They are most likely talking to legal every other day waiting for a lawsuit based on false advertising and false statements. All while just ignoring the fact they can't fix the game without a total rebuild because the coding is sooooo convoluted at this point that is the only way, yet all the people who originally wrote the code are gone and the new kids can't figure it out.

It would be really nice if every team got a Cityscapes card (instead of 5 New York Cityscape cards) and that they were spread throughout these modes, without half of them being hidden in a Pack.
Buy until then? Nothing. Just the standard Headliner pack on Tues I assume
I wonder when they will start teasing this content. Between this and the Spotlight drop on Friday it is a fair amount of content (who knows how long it will take) and it seems to me they could really stand to try and start getting people excited about Friday.
I assume we will get a live stream but I don't remember them mentioning it on the last live stream and it is not part of the calendar

@Dolenz_PSN Idk when the next live stream will be for multiple reasons (going viral for the wrong reasons last time out, this whole cheating fiasco they don’t have much of a handle on coming to light)

Well, they did not announce one at the end of the JR stream so I don't think they ever had one scheduled for the collection and Miggy.
I'll check later. Time for some VR Flight Sim on PS5 before some dreaded yard work.

It’s not that the content is bad, it’s that the old content used to be some of the BEST content around in any game.
They took TA and ADDED Team Epics.
They took that and ADDED multiple TA stages. They took that and ADDED a yearly XP path from bronze to diamond that had multiple 99 overall cards. They then improved that with the inning programs that gave out 3 cards every month instead of 3 99s over the course of a year.They tried different things ALONGSIDE those with extreme conquest, extreme program, rookie->prime player programs, Immortals, new massive collections, hidden missions, POTM programs, changed them, adapted them, improved them every year.
Now’s it’s just slop. And it’s slow drip slop. It’s content that comes out in 4 different stages with around a hour of playable content each time. They release a conquest map with 6 games and say see you next month because next week is just gunna be the 5 moments for the fifth version of the spotlight program we’ve be slow dripping since release over a month ago. The week after is the end of the season so no content needed. The next week is the first week of the new program so we can’t just put out content and let you finish, you’ll have to wait for the second release of content but we’ll add a cornerstone program that takes 8 minutes and isn’t even close to anything we’ve released in packs for over a month.
3 weeks from now we should get something to do for about 6 hours.

I think the cityscape thing is most definitely a 1 player per team - they said in their initial stream “this is the end of TA” but also said “we have some ideas going forward”.
It’ll be essentially a TA for the new Cityscapes

They’re trying to not let people get to finest etc and dole it out slowly
They should’ve just said that in launch stream but I can almost guarantee the Cityscapes is TA2

I'd settle at this point for SDS not acting out of pure malicious spite!
Look folks, when the community finally has something they have wanted in Stadium Creator for over five years, and the ONLY time during MLB 25's release cycle that SDS devotes time and money to recoding SC is to DENY the very thing the community wanted and finally got, that is the dictionary definition of malicious spite!
Then, SDS doubles down on that malice, and leaves the backdoor wide open for cheat stadiums to ruin online play, when they had right in their hands already the existing code within SC to bar any and all cheat stadiums from any and all online play!
But, I'm not done yet! Then, seven months after all this ugliness went down, SDS doubled down on malice with the release of MLB 26 by severing the stadium vault from it, vice extend that existing code to bar stadiums from online play that feature modified wall panels.
And you actually want them to listen?

Yeah, I want a couple of MvGee cards throughout the year. Give me a low to mid 90s, maybe 1982 when he was 3rd in ROY and then a 99 OVR from 85 when he won MVP

You are correct, Boston is the top one where you can see the John Hancock Tower. The bottom one I believe is Houston. I’m pretty sure the flag is the Texas State flag, but not 100%

The bottom one is philly, if you look at the flags in the C it is blue- pennant - 50, 93, 2022 and a white one for 07(when they won the division but lost to COL in DS)
The other white one is 197_, which could be 76 77 or 78 when the won the division but lost the lcs to the reds and dodgers twice -

I started playing in 2020 and feel like I came in at a pretty fortunate time for DD. Even with no regular season for the first few months, they did such an awesome job rolling out new content regularly and it covered all the bases. Small grinds, medium grinds, long grinds. There was always an Event going on and the rewards for RS/BR were usually top tier with a price that reflected the effort. You had programs like the Jackie Robinson evolution that spanned several MONTHS. Then you had surprises like the Prestige XP path which only further motivated you to keep at it. So much to do, but at the same time it also never felt overwhelming because there was just enough balance across all of the assorted modes in DD to offer something for everybody.
Sad to see how far off the rails DD has gone.

Not even a 99 or whatever something - 91 Diamond McGee would be appropriate. Just pure on switch hitting goofy madness. Want triples? Sure no problem. Wants stolen bases check, want line drives where people aren’t? McGee. Also want a defensive beast?
