Remember when inputs used to matter in this game?

This year's game has inspired me to never invest another dollar into this franchise. It's pure slop, where RNG now rules out over inputs.
The scripting is flat out out comical. What is the point of playing H2H if the game is going to decide who's getting every favorable dice roll before a pitch is made
There used to be a skill gap. Not anymore. Straight handouts are given now. Can't swing a bat? No worries, here's 8 sawed off hits, while your opponent who is substantially better gets lineouts, singles and double plays.
Will SDS do anything? No, because they openly admit that they aren't even good at the game, so all of this BS caters to them.

Sounds to me like the player with 8 sawed off hits is better than being let on and the player who gets lineouts, singles and double plays isn't as good as they think they are. If its any consolation its better to be a washed up has-been than a never-could never-was.

Not really as I have lost count at how many consecutive years now people have complained about input not mattering
