Welp, I will get it eventually but even with playing almost non stop in my available hours since launch, I ain't close to this and I still need Ohtani and Judge for Live Series. It's not a sprint for me as an offline player because I don't need the 99s in my lineup yet.

Exactly like I said in my last post. Why would anyone be excited about this. For the grand majority of us. Have fun getting this card in 2 to 3 months. Smh. Some of you wanted to argue with me. Its an utter joke cash grab. I stand by everything i say. Better off completing live series first. Like I said.. I dont want it day one. But I also dont want to grind for 3 month for one card also. There has to be a middle ground.

This collection is fair - doesn't require judge, ohtani, or even jram or witt. They always go super light on Jolt and Negro Leagues - I guess the tweens just dont wanna do TA or storylines, right? Its pretty easy to get those cards. If you invested in egg hunt, you could've doubled your money - and honestly, it was pretty easy to sniff out that it would happen. The trout card is already diving down- way too many in circulation

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS somewhat of a grind even a large grind is fine. I play alot and will not get the flash back award for a few months. That isn't somewhat of a grind. Stop playing off words bro. You know exactly what we are talking about. You also know darn well if you are not spending money or getting very lucky with pulls this is a very extra long grind for everyone else. The issue is by the time most of everyone else gets the card it will be irrelevant just like Rolen was last year, irrelevant card after two months. So what do you want? You want everyone to grind for two months for a card that will not be in most players starting lineups after a few months? I wish some of you would think before you speak or read.

@Ditka06_MLBTS bro cry about it some more. Those big collections aren’t meant to be obtained in the first month. There will be more and more people who will complete the collection soon. You can actually get things done without spending money. Or you know what? Maybe only try for certain cards if it’s too tough for you. Most of sport franchises fanbase are going to cry no matter what. There will never be a perfect game cuz people will just ask for more. So either play or leave. Either way you are still gonna complain brother.

I honestly don’t understand how anyone has the time to actually collect all the required cards to ever get these major collection rewards. Last year was the same way for me. No chance. Good luck to all who have the time! Haha

I got very lucky with packs for live series and despite having 18 vouchers, I am still well over a million stubs away.
That's wild.
Luckily I don't care.
Cabrera isn't overly special and is very, very unlikely to play for me now, let alone when it's realistic to complete in a few months. -
@Ditka06_MLBTS you are crying bro. Complaining about card you think will only be relevant for a “couple” of months. Which is plenty of time. It’s 3 99s they shouldn’t be in lineups in April. There have been people who already have atleast one of those 99s in their lineups already.

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS ok man you are not listening. Im saying Miggy is not worth the grind and the millions of stubs it will take to get him.. it will be easier to obtain in a month or two yes. But by that time with the power creep he wont be nearly as good. Alot of players are feeling the same way.

That's kind of how most of these big collections have worked for a long time now.
The first big Flashback collection in 2019 debuted Honus Wagner and most people didn't get him for a while. The 99 Trout from 2020 was the same thing.

The thing is the fact they EVEN made those 2 collections when you need EVERY card and could only guarantee you would get 2 free to play was the scummy thing. I got lucky and pulled trout with my pack, but to then ALSO break up the Jackie collections into 2 vouchers and NOT include Jackie as a voucher is BS. As someone who has been playing since 19 and knew I wouldn't have 99 day 1 I have always previously been able to get the halfway card day 1. This was a blantent cash grab to make people spend which SDS has always preached they want their game to be as NMS fair as possible. It is just in line with the lies they claimed pre-release this year. Claiming hitting and pitching mechanics where fixed and 100% consistent this year, PCI shrinkage was removed, we listened and are gonna make MORE rewarding programs and make them just as good as the pack card. This is NOT suppose to be a trading card investment simulation, it is suppose to be a baseball gameplay game. I have NO problem with making some cards pack only cards, but before 22 they always made sure that your free program cards where basically right on par.

Okay no saying if you get 99 Mikie in a month he won't be as good is far from true. We won't see other 99 tell around the All-star break so in 2 months and even then I guarantee you still see ALL 4 of the current 99 in most people's line-ups hell I used collection Beltran until they finally released the even better 99 at the games end cycle last year. He will be a great card all year and most players live his quick swing. So saying he isn't worth the grind is complete BS.

@Rhyno1986_XBL I mostly agree with you because we presumably won’t get many more 99s until after the next L&FB collection comes out in June, but Beltrán last year was miles ahead of all the 99s this year for multiple reasons (especially that ‘S’), so saying everyone used him the whole year, well, yeah, of course we did.

The collection does take a lot. But also does not have to be done today. It's a 99 card when 92-93s are the highest being released. More cards will be added for collections as well.

Is it the Angels or the AL West? I think Chone is AL West, but I could be wrong.
