Good to see Houston get a card. They were tied for dead last but that was not quite true because one of their cards was a common from the Common Courtesy program.
Not sure why Baltimore needs 2. Houston is the only team in the bottom half to get a card this drop.

@Dolenz_PSN very easily could have made Cole an Astro. Assuming there saving that for his 99 tho.

@TheJeweledLotus_PSN yeah I was rly good with his card 2 years ago aweful with his card last year. with how hitting is this year scared to even try this card with his delivery being like a Robert munch book. Easy read.

So the complaint in the first inning is there was no reason to play online once the path was complete and it wasn’t rewarding enough. So instead of doing something creative like adding a wheel, they just made it harder to complete. I’m having a really hard time saying anything positive about this game.

@SaveFarris_PSN we have all said a wheel spin at the end, are you reading the comments? Maybe ranked wins, event wins. Plenty of ways to be creative besides people boosting. Just read the comments bro. Its a problem the way they have it set up now, incentivising people to boost for stats online will always be a problem.

Everyone wants wheel spin. I think wins are good too - but its also boring if every single reward is just wins and more wins. Maybe it prevents boosting, but people also get cheap wins (disconnects etc) and can game wins too...so Im not sure it is way better at rewarding fair play

@rubicante23_PSN they can do both. Wins and stats. The answer is both. With a wheel spin. Some people want to come on here and argue, why changes dont get made. Its both, everyone knows its both. Stay unified.

What would be your suggestions to actually make it creative?
well for one, incentivizing everyone to use only god squads in high HR parks is not ideal. They have moved away from more specific goals, but things like earn pxp from players under a captain boost would be good. Or progress for wins, and half progress for a 9 inning loss (incentive to not get mercy'd). And HR and TB is somewhat redundant. Should be HR and hits. They added a bunch of singles hitter legends after all.
My personal thought, which obviously cant be done mid year, is online and offline should have separate xp with wheels. Then they could do creative things like rotating double online xp criteria. People can still use their god squads, but they will be rewarded better for theme teams (or using cards from a specific series, or division, etc). And there is always WC for god squads anyway.

(Sorry for long response in advance)
Two biggest ones for me would be variety and a wheel. There’s still the second and third drops coming, but atleast the program can be completed before these. Last year the gatekeeping until later drops was annoying so atleast that’s an improvement.
For variety I liked that the first two events wins would progress, but maybe a win shouldn’t have been as rewarding since it was one of the fastest MP programs to finish. I did like that there were multiple paths to completion, so you didn’t have to do every single mission. Having event programs/cards is great, just will have to see what today brings for Jackie Robinson Day. Really just annoyed about the Ks, but pretty sure that’s most people.
As far as a wheel, I’m sure SDS is scared of balancing that and people abusing it. But that’s why it can be an iterative process. Stick rewind packs in those, Deluxe Choice Packs, Saint Patrick’s Day and the Choice WBC pack with Ohtani/Judge or packs that didn’t have collections with them.
Missed opportunity to have the LCS cards again (Webb and Rosario) along with WS cards, since we don’t have BR cards. I get it was WBC, but as someone who has never reached top ranks that was a goal I set for myself. Got close, but fell short. I never played against any of those cards, but did buy Webb for myself since I typically enjoy his cards.

Wheel spin is just a no-brainer. A ton of people are gonna complete this multiplayer program in about a week without even trying that hard to do it - and then have no reward path.
Events and BR should have separate paths too. And, I agree with Teak - put in lots of stuff to make people use different cards - but you gotta do that in events. Noone wants to play ranked with their crazy card team against your switch hitting meta monsters
