    I find nothing easier than pitching against cpu. I just use pulse pitching and shut off the brain. Hitting isn’t much harder either, but different skills I guess

    Perfect perfect line drives I've never had an issue with before are killer this year. Double plays are far to common as well.
    Pitchers on rookie doting corners and walking my batters constantly because they dont want to throw strikes. ON ROOKIE.
    I like to play on all star every once in a while or for missions. I like those. But I shouldn't have to be a try hard on rookie.

    I will be leaving that feedback when we get to do our survey later this year.
    They are pretty good at looking at these kinds of things.

    Last year people complained about the same problems. Was hoping SDS was listening, but no. I guess we would have to be streamers for them to listen.

    @Sarge1387_PSN

    Or play the ball perfectly off the wall and throw a frozen rope to second base to get a 90+ speed guy out of what should be a stand up double.

    Didn’t say anything about skill. Yes the CPU hitting is terrible but in doing so they should be chasing far more than they do on pitches dotting the corners.

    These kinds of posts are crazy. CPU is awful at hitting! You can use the same strategies over and over, even on legend difficulty. As for CPU pitchers - they give you meatballs to hit way more than decent human players. Theyre definitely not spamming you with the sinker-cutter meta...they're giving you lots of fastball and curves to mash.

    I want CPU to be more of an honest challenge. Right now, it usually just feels like a punching bag to grind against (even on higher difficulty - so whats the point of calling it higher difficulty?)

    Yet, there's all these posts that go "why is CPU so good!!!" What?

    @rubicante23_PSN I hear what you’re saying. You want more of an honest challenge and I’m understanding of that. Wouldn’t that be a good reason to play CPU on legend then? I’ve been playing this game since 2014. I remember what the old grind used to be like. If you played on rookie or veteran the cpu would give you meatballs down the pipe and you could get through the innings and stat grind much quicker than you can now. Those days are long gone. I’m not a fan of the cpu dotting the corners with breaking balls and other off speed pitches when I’m trying to grind for cards. The best cards can not be had through a grind anyway. It is what it is. I’m not really complaining like the others, just offering a different viewpoint.

    I take that back, here’s a complaint. I am definitely sick of obnoxious number of double plays and the perfect/perfect line outs right at corner infielders. It happens a dozen times a day. That’s baseball they say lol

    Double plays are definitely obnoxious. So is insane fielding, and holding you to singles on balls hit off the wall. Other than that, CPU is pretty easy to deal with. What do you mean that "the best cards can not be had through a grind" - it's definitely doable to get every NMS through grinding. Maybe too tedious for some people, but very doable.

    @AppleLemon560_MLBTS I mean like program cards. They don’t often put the best cards in programs or in TA. They want you to pay for them. Yes you’re correct, every player has the ability to do collections without spending money. Not many have the time.

    Never said good, said obnoxious but maybe you don’t know the difference between those 2 words.

    Cpu is absolutely obnoxious!! Notice in mini seasons everything you hit is a lazy pop up. Every perfect you hit is a single lol or a line drive out. Dotting cpu pitchers on rookie, they definitely have it set up to make the grind for stats harder. Zero doubt. You cannot argue this.
