I’m really disappointed with the new 20-max limit on buying a player in MLB The Show 26. One of the main reasons many of us play this game is to keep our rosters accurate and updated as the real season changes. Limiting how many times we can buy a player makes it much harder to manage rosters and follow real life transactions or performance changes. It takes away from a core part of the experience for players who enjoy building and updating realistic rosters, and I hope this decision is reconsidered.

I understand why people are upset but this one baffles me. What do you consider a realistic roster and and how does buying more than 20 of a single player help you achieve that?
Unless by realistic you mean meta? But I would argue that a Meta squad is not a "realistic" one.

Maybe if they make it a one card limit, all the offline players will realize they don’t need to collect 1.4 million stubs to complete the collection. They can just go add Tulo to a franchise roster change his stats and go play with him….and literally WHATEVER CARD THEY WANT…
The people complaining are all addicted to check marks and being called a good boy by SDS. Have been for years. Ultimate team modes were a way to get money from online players. Somehow offline players felt excluded and wanted to be apart of it so they spend 3000 hours a year doing something they can LITERALLY do in the “roster” menu it just doesn’t come with a congratulations from Ramone and Ashley.

Anyone else remember when you were limited to 20 standing buy/sell orders TOTAL, because I sure do. If people keep complaining, they might just go back to that.

Some people either at work on app or maybe in game who knows - use the market to buy a ton of cards to flip or wait for roster update to stash for sale to be able to buy the expensive cards or just to have stubs. SDS has now limited their stub making process by not allowing them to buy hundreds of cards they’d be able to cash in. We’re all limited to 20 cards.
SDS shouldn’t have not told anyone these new limits it’s another stealth thing they do to control the market.
I think that’s what they’re bitching about.
They are correct in being upset because it’s been like that for ages and this year they decide to screw them.

I'm sorry they took your little work around on not playing the game to earn stubs away. I have 0 sympathy for anyone who is upset by this. @JenkinMeyer_PSN its always been against the rules to manipulate the market. Now you and others might not think it is....but buying low and selling high is exactly that. Buying cards in bulk in hopes they go up is exactly that. i think its great.

Double negative the idea is they have should made it apparent that they made the change and a cap limit on number of cards. Why do you think there’s so many posts on 20x limit. My response was to Dolenz anyway. Not you or the other people on the 20x limit.
