MLB The Show 26 Wish List
-
-Rain outs, suspended games, and doubleheaders- For the doubleheaders, it would be cool for each player to have a stamina meter so that in the second game, they wouldn’t play exactly to the best of their abilities, it would be easier to make wild throws and commit errors.
-Ejections and suspensions- Argue with the umpire, get ejected, fire up the team. Since you can already be ejected for hitting batters, add suspensions for the pitcher and any batter who angrily reacts.
-Pitch clock displayed on the score bug
-Different announcers for each regional network, like the Yankees’ Michael Kay and John Flaherty on The Show NYC
-RTTS- Choose an agent based on real life agents like Scott Boras. Become team captain and influence blockbuster trades and big name free agent signings. Existing team captains, like Aaron Judge, would influence the trades and signings until they retire, then the team could name you captain. Cut scenes for your retirement like your Cooperstown induction and a number retirement ceremony.
-Expansion team- choose any city, create your own team logo, new and improved stadium creator which now allows you to edit foul territory. Import your 2 expansion teams to Franchise Mode and RTTS and set the expansion year. Leagues realign to AL East, AL North, AL South, AL West, NL East, NL North, NL South, and NL West
-
Most of my stuff stems from the desperately needed upgrading of the Stadium Creator
-Moveable bullpens
-Different field layouts instead of just boring jewelbox
-Domes
-Custom foul ground
-More storage ability/less memory usage
-Take the time to properly fit the seating options to the wall
-Make the walls the hard trim point as well as the ground
-Make all space, including that which surrounds the batter's eye props completely usable to help
eliminate ugly unusable dead space. -
Diamond Dynasty
Create a perks and equipment system that could be applied to DD. Each play can equip up a low number or perks and equipment and perks and equip can only be used once. This would greatly diversify lineups and make perks and equipment some of the most desiarble items on the market.
Go to a new system of only using a players actual season based stats or part or season (like 2nd half, post season , first half, or based on era 50's, 60's 70's, 80's. deadball or peak). Stop with SO many maxed out 99's that all seem the same after a while.
Theme teams - Have captains for the different eras and when you play with players from those era, you get capatain boosts. Do same eraly in season with common, bronze, sliver, gold and LS captains. (This has been den before to a far lesser extent.
Add more levels to parrelell cards, maybe even up to 10, but make it hard to get to. This way early season cards can remain viable.

Making the players less reliable and making games less accessible seems like the wrong way to go, even if it seems more "realistic".
-Ejections and suspensions- Argue with the umpire, get ejected, fire up the team. Since you can already be ejected for hitting batters, add suspensions for the pitcher and any batter who angrily reacts.
Will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever happen.|
Ever.
It's expressly prohibited by the MLB license. Please stop asking.
-Pitch clock displayed on the score bug
Always displays once you get close to violation.
-Different announcers for each regional network, like the Yankees’ Michael Kay and John Flaherty on The Show NYC
In addition to the cost better spent elsewhere, would eat way too much space.
-RTTS- Choose an agent based on real life agents like Scott Boras. Become team captain and influence blockbuster trades and big name free agent signings. Existing team captains, like Aaron Judge, would influence the trades and signings until they retire, then the team could name you captain. Does anybody know any real-life agents besides Boras? And if you do decide to use him, you know what means: an exorbitant licensing fee. (It is Boras, after all. You think he's going to offer his NIL for free?!?)

Can you source that? Because I can't seem to find that anywhere, every google result that isn't linked to reddit or these forums says that claim isn't supported.
I don't mean that Douchebaggily, either, I've been searching for anything to back up that claim for a couple years since asking for ejections started coming up again

It was quite a few years ago, I think during a stream Q&A or something. I remember it specifically being about charging the mound and bench clearing brawls but could see it expanding to any behavior MLB would not want in the game.

Mine will never happen, I'm sure, but I like wishing them:
- Debug the Dynamic Challenges
- Stop holding games during thunderstorms
- For the love of God and all that is holy, pick some better music. I'm begging you.

I could probably come up with long lists but for the sake of this topic I will start with an easy one.
Fix longstanding bugs. This includes the attribute wheel. I am so completely baffled how this has not been fixed in a patch this year. It is such a major component of the lineup screen. Another one would the the disappearing logo.
I have others like more balanced Team Captains, fixing the antiquated Vault system to make it easier for players to use and SDS to police, Several QOL fixes like doing moments from the program screen not bouncing you all the way out of the program each time.

MLB the show sucks , it’s the same things every year nothing new smh..
I stay playing mlb 20 the show is better than new one..
mlb 26 the show wishlist- DH no DH options on exhibition games or all format
- Pitch con or Catcher finger signs option
- Add more team uniforms
- Save old rosters or seasons from old previous mlb shows games from Mlb the show 20-26
- Bring back old legends from MLB 20 the show…

@SaveFarris_PSN
I disagree. If it's realistic, it should be in the game, no? Not in DD, but in Franchise. -
Franchise-
Great our own managers like we can players. Also let us make a coaching staff and pick what few attributes they can help, or pick an existing one to edit.
Give us the ability to set situational subs. That way if I sim, the guy I have on my bench to hit lefties/righties actually gets those ABs. Or maybe update the depth chart to have ROLES! Like fireman (bullpen thing for go to guy) or defensive guy, or righty/lefty pinch hit guy, or pinch runner guy. Maybe tie all this to a manager feature so managers will manage different but “logical”. Or let use set a goal for mangers/players to hit on ABs, games played, appearances, or games started.
DD-
Add manager boosts with Captain boosts, 1 and 1. Would be funny if the “meta” or fun to use manager was the puppet and he tells out voice lines that fit his character. Or let us edit our managers so Joe Shmoe isn’t our coach.
