What are everyone's thoughts on Trout actually hitting 400 this year? Considering he only has one home run in his last like 35 games or so and there's only 10 games left I'm not too confident in him hitting another. Hate to say it but he looks genuinely terrible this year and is definitely starting to show his age. Makes me sad as an angels fan watching his steady decline over the last few years.

At this rate, Bryce might get to 400 first...

They probably have the 400 HR Milestone card ready to go, but in the event he doesn't get there SDS will likely just pivot with a 99 Finest down the road.

Hope he gets it done this season though. Such a shame his career has gotten derailed with injuries and with how bad the Angels have been for essentially his entire career, it would be cool to see Trout and the fanbase have something to celebrate this year.

If he doesn’t get it this year do we ever get a 400 home run milestone card for Trout? I doubt they release this next April given the power creep unless they make it an 89 overall.

They already told us they have the program ready to go, but Trout doesn't seem to want to see us

If he doesn't they should change the card art to ALMOST and the stat line should say 399 hr, and then everyone should bring 399 signs to Eagles games.

They gave Arrenado a 95 spotlight card in June for 350

If they go all out for Trout then expect fans to also expect the same treatment for (guys above 360)

    Goldy (372)
    Machado (368)
    Freeman (364)
    Harper (363)
    Judge (363)

    @Dolenz_PSN

I don’t disagree but SDS has already proven that some milestones are more important than others.
Pete Alonso 253 HR =99 milestone program.
Nolan Arenado 350 HR =95 spotlight
Salvy Perez 300HR =3 day supercharge.

If he gets it in April, they'll supercharge his LS card for a week and then give us the 400 card in July/August/whenever.

I think you are reading to much into those

Salvador Perez already had a 99 when he hit 300
Arenado Hit 350 in June before the power creep would allow a 99
Alonso hit 253 in Sept well into the 99 Overall releases

I would say when they hit that HR in the season and what cards they currently had has more of a impact than what the number was.

That said we are in Sept so Trout definitely, and deservedly get a great 99 card.

Luckily none of the other guys I mentioned are close enough that they will reach it in the beginning of the year next year. Judge will probably leap frog them all and be the first to reach 400 but we'll be in 99 territory next year when he does.

2 others hit also, 1 last night and 1 tonight, don't know if either merits a card but we'll see, special but more of a personal milestone.
Castellanos hit # 250 last night and Stanton hit his # 450 tonight
