Not being able to log into Companion App with Xbox login or PlayStation login

I've been trying to log into the companion app for a week now, trying every other day, but I get the same issue no matter what I try. I've tried logging in with a code that was sent to my email; I've also tried logging in with my password. (Yes, it's the right password because I can log in to my accounts on my computer just fine.) It seems to be a mobile device and a Microsoft thing. I can get to the part where I put my password or code in, and then it shows the loading bar at the top of my screen, like the page requested it. But when I use the code, it just freezes. When I use the password, it shows the little loading circle, and that's it; it just stays on that screen for hours (yes, I waited an hour to see if it would load). The only thing that I can think of that might fix it is having people log in on the app and not on a browser.
