Sammy Sosa

Why exactly do we have to do moments for a month for Sammy Sosa. It doesn’t even look like that great of a card. I mean he’s not bad but for a months work is wild.
-
I personally love it. It celebrates something that happened in baseball, isnt in a pack or part of a collection, and is SDS trying something different.
I would have at least thrown a Kerry Wood in there too, but the spotlight packs are very nice so its not just Sosa
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS I like the fact they are celebrating something historic too but it’s a shame we have to wait all month for one card with 90 contact vs left and 60 vision. I agree they should’ve added Kerry Wood or another Cub. Mark Grace would’ve been cool. One of the greatest swings of all time. Has Mark Grace ever had a card in this game?
-
You could just wait till the end of the month and do everything then as if it was a program that was all dropped on one day. Or one can knock out a portion here and there and not have to do everything all at once. It gives people options on how they want to get the program done.

Then don't do it. I'm not.
But, that said, I actually like it. It is a celebration of his month long achievement so I kind of like that they are dropping moments on the days they happened (I assume that is what they are doing. I have not looked too closely)

I think Grace was in the game at some point.
If people saved all the Moments to this to do at once, it would be like that 'Moments Of Glory' program that many cried about.
You could see the tears rolling down their faces as we speak if they waited -
@dap1234567890_PSN I’ve done everything so far. Even the xp missions
-
Ok I get everyone’s point. I guess it is a good idea to spread it out throughout the month.
-
I love the simplicity of the program, don't get me wrong...but what I hate is the pitching. I gave up on it after I tried one in particular 35 times- and was walked 32 times. The other three were a could-have-gone-either-way fly ball that died on the track just shy of the basket, a P/P screamer to short, and a pop up.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN yes...so annoying...it's like you're forced to swing at bad pitches just so you can hit something
-
@Sarge1387_PSN Yeah, it's a bit strange with the pitching on these moments. I basically have to get lucky with a pitch middle-in in order to knock one out. Sammy is a hit machine but I'll be damned if that sweet spot window ain't as small a gnat with his swing (his vision doesn't help either).
-
@GoldenGamingKM_PSN if you can foul off enough balls ..you MIGHT get that one good pitch
-
are we really crying about this too? C'mon, everyone says do something different they do, and then people complain about it. I love the program, its easy, just play the game and do i'm guessing 20 moments for a 95 overall...
-
@MRAD2010_XBL an internet chat room conversation changed someone’s mind. It’s like we just spotted a yeti!
-
@LIONED-33_XBL Dude, settle down. Some of us are simply talking about our experiences. Get off it.
-
@GoldenGamingKM_PSN you’re right some of you maybe but others are not. Some of the people on here “discussing” have been on other threads “discussing” how the product is stale and want new things….
-
@tear4eddy_PSN I’m not perfect I can admit when I’m wrong. I see how this program is cool for a lot people. I didn’t realize they did the moments on the days he homered. Pretty coo idea.
-
I like the program, Sammy's gonna be my RF when it's done.
That said, this hitting a homer off of Grant Anderson moment can eat expired ice cream.
-
If you’re gonna have an 8 TB mission against a pitcher who is allergic to the strike zone, walks should count

I knew as soon as I started this it’d be a problem
95 ovr versus 65 ovr and he’s pumping gas
