If it was a new Legend, I think they would've hyped that up by now so going to assume it is someone currently in the game.
Ted Williams is a solid guess. He's arguably the biggest new addition this year and is due for an upgrade since he only has the one 85 overall card that debuted at launch. It also wouldn't surprise me if we got endgame versions of Manny or Jose Bautista as they are also brand-new Legends although both do already have 88 diamonds in DD.
If they do go the Live Series route which I don't think they will, it might be a fan favorite Show player like Trea or even Trout.

It kinda would be fitting with the first one easily could have been the cardinals version( I don't think rolen was greater with either phils or cards,but was great for both)

A cardinals card this time after being teased with it the first time .....Stan is deserving for sure, but Ted has the bigger name and being the new featured Legend just makes him a more appealing option for SDS to tie to an expensive collection.

They can get away with him not getting an All Star card because Senga and/or Diaz will make it too. And then Mets Lindor for finest (Alonso will also make All Star obviously, but HRD for him)

Lindor is another great option.
It very well could be a pitcher or reliever as well even though most people would probably prefer an offensive player that they can use every game. Back in 2021, both Mariano and Kershaw were Legends & Flashbacks Collection rewards.

Manny is tough because you can justify all three teams (CLE/BOS/LAD) for his 99, but I think this year it will be a Cleveland card based on his 1999 season which is overall the best of his career.
Just hard to imagine Manny not getting a 99 card from his Boston days though because that is the team most people associate him with and he was an absolute beast for the majority of that run.
And don't forget we also still need a silver Last Ride version to celebrate his historic time with Tampa.
