Live series collection

The live series collection seems impossible to complete with the prices of some of these cards being so high. I’ve completed a little more than half of the live series collection. At this point, completing the Dodgers and Yankees live series seems impossible due to the fact that judge and
Ohtani are 500,000 stubs. I just don’t get how we are supposed to complete this collection because packs are so dang bad and I’m not dishing out real money to pay for overpriced stubs. I have pulled many 85 overall live series cards worth no more 5000 stubs but that has gotten me no closer because the majority of them are duplicates. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to wait months for when they release 99 overalls that surpass Beltran, Clemens, and Hodges -
@Freak_F_Kennedy_PSN Finish all the content that's available and grind conquest. I probably shouldn't tell a bunch of people but I've found that The Easter Egg DQ cards have held value fairly well so I like have been grinding that one. It is certainly a grind. But As someone who had literally never finished LS collection I am jut Ohtani Betts Freeman away. So it's def possible.

Grinding diamond quest and selling the rewards is definitely the best way. Unless you like playing the market and flipping cards, which I don't just because I always seem to suck at it. I've been playing lots of diamond quest, making sure to tell any dupes or cards that I know I won't use or don't need, and am just Ohtani, J-Ram and Witt away from finishing with about 500,000 stubs in hand. It's not easy but it can be done.

@Freak_F_Kennedy_PSN I do not think you will have to wait months … But staying calm is pretty hard atm … I would go at it with a longtime perspective … Do not do bad things (buying packs, buying overprices players) … There are a lot of good players you can get for free to field a good quad.

You need to learn how to work the market. Either flipping or investments. I completed the LS collection a coupel weeks ago, NMS, from Flipping. A lot have done it from investments as well

my thoughts have always been this. I'll get as much as the LS done as possible before the first stub sale. the last 3 years i didnt need to buy any stubs as i had the LS done in the first 90ish days. I see there is a stub sale today....i need Ohtani, i have 300k stubs....he jumped up to 700k this morning...i'm not doing it. SDS can kiss my rose red [censored]. This is exactly how you lose players. @SDS_JoeK_PSN this is market manipulation. You know it, SDS knows it, the same thing that gets players banned is what SDS is doing. You and others at your company refuse to be transparent with the community. Just admit to it, so we know what to expect. Stop being like 2k and Madden. There is a reason people love the Show, because of the way it WASN'T like the other sports franchises when it comes to microtransactions. The continued Market Manipulation, and hiding collections behind pack luck is completely out of hand. Will i quit no. will i find other games to play absolutely. Its sad, i've been playing the show for 15 years now....

I'm having way more issues flipping this year than last for some reason. Investments are really hard to pick up on right now

Its meant to be a season long thing. SDS is happy to take money from impatient people, as they should be.
I imagine the repeatable conquest map will start increasing the supply a bit more now so things will start to go down, and the best advice would be to never buy a high value card outside of specific flash sale windows. Wait until there is a short term influx and buy then.

I was hoping this would happen this past weekend classic. I just need ohtani and ketel. I’m up to 560k but their prices never moved down at all (thought with an influx of packs during weekend classic they might). I see ohtani posted for over 600k today -

I am running DD more like a franchise this year and I am picking and choosing who I want to buy that is affordable and just figuring I will never get LS done til end of the year.

I made a big mistake in buying trout, lindor and a couple other diamonds to finish off some team collections for the TA xp. I should’ve bought ohtani at 350k at that time. -
I’m getting frustrated with the live series collection. The min I think I’m getting closer the card prices go up and then they drop a stub sale and make it even worse.

Keep in mind it’s May. There is a long season left. For those of us who have made flipping our hustle, the market is not great but it will open up and then we can start really making our way towards finishing the LS. I’m 8 teams away. Of course it’s all the gatekeepers. Yankees, Dodgers, Royals, Guardians, Padres, DBacks, Angels and Mets

Idk. Last year all I did was flip stadiums. I’d put in buy orders play a conquest game or mini seasons, come back and sell them and rinse and repeat for the evening. I quit with 700k and everything that I wanted to complete. That is not working so much this year.
