I will try to be somewhat optimistic and believe we'll start seeing some April Stoplight packs showing up in maps/reward paths to help make this collection a little more digestible.
Still, even if they release more packs, you still need some good luck to hit the rare round (1:10 odds) to get all of the required cards for the collection.
I agree not every card should be easily attainable, but it's hard to forget that these Retro Lightning cards used to be totally free so I definitely see both sides of the argument with how they structured this.

@SakAttack87_PSN I hope they show up in packs occasionally too. I’m trying not to be a hater. I honestly do like this game. I always have. I pretty happy about the Carroll card too. It just seems it’s starting to be of a cash grab than it used to be.

If the packs show up then there better not be any Topps Now cards in there or the packs will be worthless

@MRAD2010_XBL Turns out you need all of the pack cards. Suarez isn’t even part of the collection, so it’s even worse than you thought. What a kick to the nuts.

Yep they are doing a great job of showing their true colors. I’m all but done at this point.

perhaps … when a better option is available, which I doubt, Posada is out (and arguably worse) … Imo I think he is viable for at least 3-4 weeks (and he will get cheaper by then) … and again: Cards do not make your team better, it is your thumbs. I will go confidently into the Weekend-League with Simmons as my no 8 hitter

My thought exactly. Seems a heavy price for a 92 overall card. Like someone was saying, I think they will open up more avenues to get these cards. Maybe a flash sale of ONLY Spotlight cards. I think that would suffice. The topps now cards are brutal pulls when you shell out 30K.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah I noticed that after the conversation last night. Kinda sucks but it is what it is. Maybe they’ll figure out a way to make it more accessible to get but probably unlikely.

@MRAD2010_XBL I find this to be incorrect. It's been a grind but I have made enough stubs to get all but 4 teams in the LS collection so far. And am about half the way to Witt to finish the AL.
Its a grind sure but I should have LS done by 4th inning is my guess. I've never finished LS before.

Meh, just save your stubs. None of these cards are end game, so not worth it anyways. If you really want a great switch hitting catcher, just buy Posada.....much cheaper and WAY more quirks.

But it helps … now. That is the beauty of the power creep. Do I buy and make my team better(maybe?) or hold on to other choices and buy-in somewhere else
