Is the game worth it ?

I mostly play rtts and franchise and i wanna know besides YouTuber what’s y’all opinion. Or i should wait till it’s on sale

I’m thoroughly enjoying the new build maker and loved the high school and college experience. Being able to build how you want your player has really increased my enjoyment. You will suck at first because your attributes are so low, but that’ll change the more you play.
The good thing is everyone will suck in high school and college so you can still shine if you play well. My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer, I would have liked 8-10 high school and college games but that’s me.
The game is still the same game though and if you’re thinking it’s changed dramatically it hasn’t. I do feel the hitting algorithm has increased difficulty though, I’m not hitting 80 homeruns anymore.
All in all I think the game is great, bugs and all, and was worth the money. Just know that once you get to the minors, the game play is the same. I will say, if you’re fine with the archetype system then you will be fine sticking with 24. 25 is great to me and I’d buy again if the choice was available.

@GreenEydBndt_XBL ok thanks I’m asking because the show 24 is leaving game pass and really wondering about paying it full price
-
@Tr4axz_XBL I picked up 24 for $15 at Walmart.
-
The game play and little things are way better then 24 in a smooth concept. They finally updated Franchise so that’s nice.
-
@Tr4axz_XBL if you’re a franchise player it’s def not worth it this year. They only update this game for the card game bs. DD is majority of the players who play with that weak hitting view but they completely got away from realistic baseball.

@Tr4axz_XBL
Honestly I like it but if you can get 24 cheap ($15) then it’s a no brainer, get 24. Just remember the support will not be there and the longer people play 25 the harder it will be to get items in 24 (unless you already have everything you want). Unlike a lot of people I liked 24 and am still playing it, along with 25. -
@GreenEydBndt_XBL yeahit could be an option but i have the xbox series s so i don’t think i can buy the $15 version and i might as well buy it full price for the first time since 21
-
@Shua2168_MLBTS i like to mix it with some road to the show only thing i saw is that there’s isn’t enough college game you can played same for high school
-
@Tr4axz_XBL so, I was in this same situation and bought 25. I am glad I did for the most part. It really is exactly the same game once you get to the minors in regard to game play, commentary, visuals, replays etc...a few small additional audio comments and some new...I think.... visuals but 98% exactly the same. Building players is MUCH better...if you like/love 24.... you'll like/love 25... It has its own flaws but, I'm glad I have it.

@Tr4axz_XBL At this point the answer is no. But that is because of many issues and bugs, although I guess it could depend on what console you're playing on (actually I've read of problems on every console) It COULD be worth it, but there are simple too many issues to warrant $80 - $110 (with tax) at this point. Wait for a sale, or subscription if it happens.
-
@Tr4axz_XBL Just read that you're on XBSS, the game is good. But still many issues involving frame rate (on series s) and bugs. Wait if you can and play 24.
-
@Shua2168_MLBTS This is just simply untrue. They redid the entire way Free Agency works in Franchise. You may not like the system and that's fine, but it is TOTALLY different and there is no denying that.
Yes the game is definitely worth it, it's a good fun game. Like the Show always is.
-
@trfatboy22_PSN But what about the frame rate issues MANY players are experiencing during gameplay in franchise? What about the headfirst sliding into 1st base almost always? I'm not saying that SDS didn't make improvements to franchise, but there are so many issues still with the game itself. It may not be affecting you specifically, but for a lot of us it is. But to the OP's original question, if he mainly plays RTTS, he should be fine because I don't seem to have any issues playing that game mode. It's only in franchise that I have all these issues.
