Is the game worth it ?

The game play and little things are way better then 24 in a smooth concept. They finally updated Franchise so that’s nice.
-
@Tr4axz if you’re a franchise player it’s def not worth it this year. They only update this game for the card game bs. DD is majority of the players who play with that weak hitting view but they completely got away from realistic baseball.

@Tr4axz
Honestly I like it but if you can get 24 cheap ($15) then it’s a no brainer, get 24. Just remember the support will not be there and the longer people play 25 the harder it will be to get items in 24 (unless you already have everything you want). Unlike a lot of people I liked 24 and am still playing it, along with 25. -
@GreenEydBndt yeahit could be an option but i have the xbox series s so i don’t think i can buy the $15 version and i might as well buy it full price for the first time since 21

@Tr4axz so, I was in this same situation and bought 25. I am glad I did for the most part. It really is exactly the same game once you get to the minors in regard to game play, commentary, visuals, replays etc...a few small additional audio comments and some new...I think.... visuals but 98% exactly the same. Building players is MUCH better...if you like/love 24.... you'll like/love 25... It has its own flaws but, I'm glad I have it.

@Tr4axz At this point the answer is no. But that is because of many issues and bugs, although I guess it could depend on what console you're playing on (actually I've read of problems on every console) It COULD be worth it, but there are simple too many issues to warrant $80 - $110 (with tax) at this point. Wait for a sale, or subscription if it happens.
-
@Tr4axz Just read that you're on XBSS, the game is good. But still many issues involving frame rate (on series s) and bugs. Wait if you can and play 24.
-
@Shua2168 This is just simply untrue. They redid the entire way Free Agency works in Franchise. You may not like the system and that's fine, but it is TOTALLY different and there is no denying that.
Yes the game is definitely worth it, it's a good fun game. Like the Show always is.
-
@trfatboy22 But what about the frame rate issues MANY players are experiencing during gameplay in franchise? What about the headfirst sliding into 1st base almost always? I'm not saying that SDS didn't make improvements to franchise, but there are so many issues still with the game itself. It may not be affecting you specifically, but for a lot of us it is. But to the OP's original question, if he mainly plays RTTS, he should be fine because I don't seem to have any issues playing that game mode. It's only in franchise that I have all these issues.

No definitely not freezes all the time

No. Hitting is absolutely [censored] this year. A poorly hit ball outside the zone will be a hit more than a perfect. A perfect pitch isn't guaranteed to actually be in the par zone. Even if you have perfect umpires on they WILL be wrong. [censored], they're wrong in ranked. Clear strikes down the middle have been called balls. Clearly checked swings are a strike more often than not. It's honestly pretty trash and the lack of attention on these forums only proves it.
