My main hope is that they don't hide another highly revered Cardinal player behind the season collection for the third straight season. The main possibilities would be a 99 Musial or McGwire

I'm dying for a "big" Musial. One of my favorite cards from 2023.

I really, REALLY wanted to go with new Legend Benny Agbayani, but I couldn't find a good enough shot of him in a Red Sox Uni that showed his number.

85-90 Pallante (best pitcher for them 2nd half)There are a lot of Cardinals we could get. McGwire, Musial and Edmonds are the obvious ones. The other two you mention are probably not likely unless they get a Topps Now or Season award.
But there is still only a
92 Goldschmidt
88 Arenado (he has a 97 Rockies card)
84 Holliday (He has a 99 Rockies card)I'm surprised we have not seen a Goldschmidt MVP card since he won the award a few years back.
That said I don't expect to see many of them at the outset of season 3.

Im looking forward to season 3. I think they did a nice job pivoting mid season 2 with a much better power curve and starting with the All Star game, solid content.

Pujols- can someone explain to me why guys go away for 5 or so years when they retire? He may not be an active member of the players Union but he still works for MLB. Like….make it happen. -

Like….make it happen.While I would like a 99 Brock, I am not sure we will get one since we got a 97 as a season 1 Collection reward. I am trying to not get my expectations too high.
Lee Smith - Yeah, I could see that but he played for a lot of teams that they could give him to.
Ozzie Smith got a 95 a few weeks back in the Heyward mini season.
I'll take any of them they want to give a 99 Cardinals card for but I was mainly looking at those who were missing entirely (McGwire, Edmonds) or were stuck with bad cards (Musial)

I do find that strange. I really expected them to come hot and heavy today and tomorrow.
All we have gotten today is a generic graphic for the next roster update.
