So NCAA Football is back with a release of July 19th. Although I like The Show, I’ll probably play more football honestly. I see a lot of people flocking to football. Opinions?

Only because nostalgia, we're getting a game we haven't had since 14, but you could factor that CFB Revamped is a thing right now and has been, but a new CFB on console will for sure sell.

yes for sure 100%. The show needed to have its best foot forward to have a chance at stopping the players from flocking. Failed !!!!!!!!!! Sadly the 7th version of Paul Konerko will be left untouched

I'm honestly surprised at all the good will EA is getting for this; it'll probably be the same crappy engine and features that Madden already employs.

    @Mazter-Baitur Yes, they will.

Others will say, that they are gone (and not leave, but get onto the forum to cry on 🙂 )

EA will wreck NCAA like they did the sims, Madden, NHL and everything they touch.Only the show can hurt the show.

If the EA forum is any indication, no. There are only three posts in the forum and one is mine.

Not everyone plays every sports game. It certainly won’t hurt offline play 🙂

No. SDS itself and law suits will hurt the show.

I still maintain that it will not hurt the show any more than the release of the latest Madden or NBA game. There will be a definite drop off as those who play all sports games try the newer shinier toy.

The problem is not NCAA cause it does not matter if this game ( Show) is not great like it is right now OR if it was the best version of the game we have EVER had that game was going to put a dent into this game- period. The real issue is how many will come back and play this game almost as much as before or will they cut the hours they give to this game drastically or maybe just stop playing this game for NCAA all together.

I have waited 10 years for this moment, which is almost as long as I have for the show to upgrade their game engine. SDS has hurt themselves more than EA ever could.

That lawsuit won't hurt them much, they already changed the name of it.

I'll be sticking with this. Maybe it's because I'm new to baseball as I'm from the UK but started playing this a few weeks ago as it was free on gamepass and I have to to say I'm hooked. I haven't played another game since

Absolutely. NCAA was awesome back in the day. I don’t play many others games outside of The Show so this would be a good get-away. Hopefully it’ll be a good experience.

Checking into this forum for first time in a while.

I preordered CFB25 and have been playing since Monday.

So me - been exclusively MLB THE SHOW DD player since MLB 17. And ya, this year extremely disappointed by MLBTS 24 DD.

Since Monday, CFB25 is absolutely the GOAT for sports games this year. It's replaced MLBTS for me as my exclusive sports title. I dobut I will even touch MLBTS 24 this year unless there's a huge turn around with DD but I doubt it.

Ya I know nobody cares but thought I'd share. Its like I dumped the old tired GF for the new Hot one! lol
