Nobody is going to question where he actually got those numbers seems completely made up. Just for reference those numbers are almost 4x bigger than Madden at peak so I’m gonna call bs
-
I look at how many people are at P1 on cards as my barometer for how many are playing. If you pay attention, depending on if the card is in a pack, or if it's tied to a program, etc you'll see a substantial drop off compared to past years. They always tend to drop as the year goes on, but I've noticed a big decline considering it's only early May.
-
@VioletNine9 from the Ranked Season, current season leaderboards. You can look them up yourself.
-
Has anyone else noticed that when you sell a card in the app it doesn't give you a notification that it sold? I've been having that problem since yesterday I've even went as far as to uninstall and reinstall the app but that didn't work either and yes I do have that notification turned on, can anyone please help
-
@VioletNine9 you’re also a casual with game history from today and 260 hours logged. You clearly haven’t left.

@AdeptOfMemory
Yoshi, Tyler, Pergo, and BJ are the top 4 I see consistently supporting SDS no matter what they do. All are likely either on the SDS payroll, know someone on the SDS payroll, are trying to get hired by SDS, or are just straight up huge trolls that like riling everybody up by playing devils advocate on the forums.
So If I do not share your opinion, I have to have the wish to work @SDS (which would be pretty hard, living on another continent …
The problem is: If anybody just does not say: You are right (and I mean without a „but“ that follows), he is wrong.
If that is your standpoint, you should consider quitting the internet or at least this forum.
There is not always a right or wrong, most of times it is in between …You won‘t read this either, but I‘ll say it once again (knowing, that it won‘t fit your narrative of some guys just simply wanting to work @SDS because they do not share your opinion completely).
24 is much much better than last year. The power creep is back and that is awesome. I liked 21/22 better, but everything is better than 23.
The bad things imo are: Packs should also be earnable, there are not enough programs for offline players. I agree, that there are too many foul balls.
But I do not share that this game is pay to win, because if you cannot play the cards do not matter. But again: You do not want to read good things. You guys want to rant no matter what and not acknowledge any good things. If ranting is your way of „giving feedback“ (btw: I do not see any proposals for improvement, most of the times it‘s just and only rants), you better stop, because nobody will listen to that

The problem with the maybe 10 of you in this thread is you all act like you're some vocal majority of discontent with the game and SDS. You're not. You are just in an echo chamber and refuse to accept there are people who actually enjoy this year's gameplay and content structure.
For perspective though, the current Ranked Season began just over 28 hours ago, and here are the player totals from each division, so, number of players who played just Ranked Seasons in the last 28 hours
60 players in World Series,
165 players in Championship Series,
2520 players in Division Series,
6120 players in Wild Card,
19140 players in Pennant Race
62685 players in All Star
48490 players in Regular Season
12510 in Spring Training,151960 players, have played Ranked Seasons in the last 28 hours. That's just Ranked. Not Events, BR or what most people are probably doing, grinding Team Affinity offline.
But 10 or so people like yourself in this thread will tell you, "the game is dead" because of their opinion.
awesome post. Thank you

Yeah, its a lazy argument that is used by haters of every game against those who do not agree with them. I see it in almost every game forum I visit.
If a reviewer gives a good review of a game they don't like then that reviewer or website was paid off. Of course these same people will quote that website when they give a bad review to a game they don't like.
If another gamer likes a game you hate they are automatically a dev on a fake account or friend/family member of a dev.

I don't share the opinions of guys like Yoshi or Tyler, but it's the same thing on Reddit or even Gamefaqs on the boards still alive there. Now granted, there have been a few guys from EA caught shilling before because they forgot what forum they were on and signed off with their EA SN...so at the very least it isn't unheard of. But definitely not the norm

@AdeptOfMemory They have to mentally justify the thousands of dollars they spent. If everyone quits, they feel they didn't spend wisely (they didn't).
-
This game is just horrible so tired of the hitting
-
As a casual player myself , this game is absolutely dying and clearly not worth the time nor effort anymore , but on the bright side new elden ring dlc next month so bye bye mlb it was fun while it lasted
-
I've been playing this year's game a lot less than any other year since I started in 14. I'm an offline grinder, but I haven't had the motivation to play this year. For me personally, I feel like the xp nerf, the xp cap, and the excessive amounts of packs have taken the wind out of my sails. My apathy this year knows no bounds.

Good info, thanks!... I guess that it will continue to live.... at least until July 19th.
BTW: Where did you look to find this info regarding the (151,960) RS participants?

Just for reference, that number is one you could find yourself on the leaderboards, but you have to do math, and I get the vibe that math may not be a strong suit for you. Thankfully phones have calculators on them, so you could use that. Namaste

@BJDUBBYAH did you take into account how many of those players have played 1 game and quit for any host of reasons?
