What happened to real simulation baseball?

It feels like I'm playing a home run derby, every hit is a home run. No skill needed this year.

Once you hit 700 it gets alot better. HOF plays much more realistic than AS.

I have never considered The Show a simulation game no matter how much people try and make it so. When the gamers skill on the controller overshadows the skill of the player they are controlling then it is no longer a sim.
If I want a more realistic sim then I will play OOTP baseball

I hit 700 and I agree. I lost 2-1 and havent sniffed 700 since lol but it really did feel like a more realistic game.

Smaller PCI, higher pitch speed so yeah we couldnt hit but it is obviously much harder to score at that level. Do you comprehend that or no?

I’m hitting .430 this year so far. I was around .350 last year, .300 in 22 and I was even worse in 21.
Hitting is too easy. You can’t strike people out

No one wants simulation H2H. If they did, it would be classic pitching and timed hitting so RNG could decide the outcome.

Yes it is…did you not read what I messaged earlier?
Smaller PCI, higher fast speeds generally means lower runs. Obviously the great players will score regardless but my opponent and I struggling at that level and doing well at AS tells you just that
