But if I don’t lock them in then why would I quick sell when I could make more stubs on the market.

Exactly don’t lock them in and you can sell them on the market. You either want to do the collections or you want to sell the cards. Gotta make a decision can’t do both anymore

Look man, OP just wants it both ways like we were used to in previous years. They made a decision to not allow this anymore which I personally support. It's okay to think it sucks or don't agree with their decision making, but to come on here and start a "petition" for something they're clearly not changing is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Especially since it's so easy to make stubs in this game.

No shot. Now people cannot have their cake and eat it too.

You can quick sell duplicates. You can exchange duplicates. The only thing they don't want is that you get double value out of your collected cards. So once you lock in a diamond, it's gonna stay there and you won't be able to get 5K each like previous years. I have zero issues with this whatsoever, I actually think it's a good thing because it makes the collections a tad harder to complete since you're not getting double value for your diamonds anymore.
Why is making collections harder so they can make profit a good thing? Do you have stock in SDS
Because I'm tired of running into teams where everybody and their momma has the best cards in the game. Work a little bit for it, doesn't hurt anybody. And it also doesn't have to cost anyone a dime since you can flip your way to millions on the market. Just takes some time to do it. As a matter of fact, the richest guy in the game every year (stub wise) is very very very mediocre at the game, he's just a market flipping god.
LOL some people have a life with families and actual careers. They don't have time to be on a video game to flip for fake currency and play the actual game of baseball. if someone wants to flip their way to millions then good for them but it's not for everybody. That's why some people prefer to buy their stubs because they're real life time is more valuable and an artificial currency. I personally don't care if someone flips the market as a full-time job or spends $5,000 real money on the game. It is all up to each person's choices in life and financial situation.

My first year playing; its clear, either buy packs and complete collections or go NMS (no money spent), flips cards and sacrifice collections! Or be rich and do both!!

Yeah I have a family and a career too. I don't care if you spend money on stubs. I don't work the market either. I'm good enough to earn my millions in BR. But I understand not everyone is in that position either, so I was just saying that this is the only game where you can get loaded without HAVING to spend money, unlike let's say EA games.
I'm not really sure where you got this from in my comments either. I literally never said a word about being against buying stubs or what not. I was saying I'm okay with their decision to not allow the quick selling of locked in cards.

Will also be nice later in the year for other collections like Honus last year and for events.
I miss out on a lot last year because I quicksold players later I needed.

Do you recommend a finding a Balance between Quick selling cards and keeping cards for collections?
-
It won’t happen. SDS hasn’t even replied to any of their problems so far this year. They obviously did it for a cash grab. I also have every card sitting in my binder, while the only LS card I’m using is trout. They should at least let us use collected cards for affinities, but that’s not happening.
-
I wish we could, but I also understand why we can't. I've gotten over it. We can quicksell and exchange dupes, so I'm glad they fixed that. Also, it just seems to me like stubs are fairly plentiful this year (I'm no money spent after my initial $70 buy). I've done a little bit of flipping but not much. The margins this year aren't allowing for that. All I have left for the LS collections are diamonds for Yankees, Indians, Angels, Astros, Mets, Nationals, Brewers and Dodgers, and I'm sitting on about 175k stubs for use right now and I kept my first inning boss. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems like they've given us a lot of ways to earn stubs so far.

Getting double value out of cards isn’t flipping. It’s quickselling a card you locked into a collection lmao. And I play when I can while working 60-72 hours a week and have no issues
-
I actually like what they did. I haven’t been facing Mickey every game. Quit crying. You knew you wouldn’t be able to quick sell and locked them in

I have several duplicates that I can not sell that came out of affinity packs I can exchange but not sell them.

Quick Selling anything that was Locked in to any kind of collection was a major fault and makes no logical sense, I am glad they finally realized this and fixed it for this years game
