Season 6 Idea

A friend and I came up with what we felt would be a good idea for closing the TA season. In season 6, have the TA program provide two, 99 Captain cards for EACH team (1 hitter and 1 pitcher). Their boosts should provide a SIGNIFICANT boost for others in the same organization and the ONLY boost level is if ALL your position players or pitching staff are teammates of the captain.
If they did this, we felt it would accomplish the following ....
- Give us Captain Cards you can actually play with online.
- Have offline and online players using real life rosters instead of strictly god squads.
- Bring value to the grind you put in for cards affiliated with your favorite MLB teams all season.
Figured I would run it by yall and see what you thought of our idea.

@kcartledge Its almost like they have using real life rosters in the game, its called "play now" DD is designed to use the best of the best.

That is a valid question since all cards become eligible again.
But I feel like they have left themselves several openings to have a Team Affinity 6.

Legends - There are so many legends who had early 99 cards but have not gotten one since. Babe Ruth (set 1), Mays (set 2), Musial (set 2), Gibson (Set 1), Seaver (set 2), etc. We know that these early 99 cards usually don't hold a candle to set 5 cards with 99 OVR so updated legends would be nice.

Award Winners - This would also catch all of the names above as I think all of them have an MVP or Cy Young card but could also include more recent players, like the often asked for 99 Bryce Harper, or any of the 2022 MVPs or CY Young winners.
I guess the bottom line for SDS is if they believe people will still chase these players when they can use any card from any set. If they think it can prompt more stub purchases out of people then they probably will have a TA6.

@chucky97___ Not everyone prefers the God Squad concept. If they created a way for a "team build" to not be at a disadvantage, I think you would see a lot of it.
Our idea above would provide that.
